  1. Model 10 nerfed, Martini leg and arm shots nerfed, Hellreigle nerfed, syringe nerfed, medic revive bug fixed, LMG buff, and terrain blocking med crate deploy fixed. Overall it seems like a decent patch. Edit: http://pastebin.com/MRYABYZA the hard numbers
  2. A friend got me the 1-3 remastered collection for my B-day back in April. I finally got around to playing it. I played a little bit of 1 months ago but the shifty camera made me want to barf when my vertigo was acting up. I marathoned the rest the past 2 days. The first game is really dated. I'm sure it was amazing when it first came out. The jump and grapple mechanics are pretty poor causing me to rage during some of the jumping puzzles when Drake failed to grab onto the platforms I was jumping too. The one thing that has been consistent through the first 3 games is inconsistency in makeable jumps. For the most part you can tell if you can make a jump or not, but sometimes you can make these absurdly long jumps that normally aren't possible... so it gets confusing where to go at times because you're telling yourself that isn't a possible jump, when it is, and the animation is funky looking because its a distance that's not normal any other time. Despite its problems though, the story was really good, and the characters likeable. There were some really great watershed moments too. The second game frustrated me the most. I liked the puzzles, but many of the first games issues were still present, and since there was more action, it compounded the problem. My main issue with 2 is the stupid amount of segments that last under 10 seconds if you successfully complete them... but you never are successful because you don't know what the fuck to do. Its always some moment where if you don't act fast you die... so you die about 4-5 times and then the game points out something that wouldn't be obvious in such a short time frame.... or something you already did and it didn't work, but magically it does once the game tells you about it... this is shit design. Games like MGS and God of War never had to rely on things like this, and it really ruined the flow of the game for me. It story wasn't my favorite either, but I liked the characters so much I went with it. Despite the apparent plot holes of 3, It was my favorite... probably because the gameplay was the most polished, and the vast majority of the issues I had with 1 and 2 disappeared. The puzzles where the best, the journal was more clear, the jump mechanics were better, and the weapons were great. It has a ton of great watershed moments and was just more enjoyable to play for me. The flow of the game kept on going. My only gripes about 3 are the hint system regressed horribly for no good reason, and you could get stun locked to death... which was the cause of 90% of my deaths in the game. Nothing a little bit of muscle memory couldn't fix the second go around, but the die/retry until you take out common NPC's in a certain order, is a bit dated. Boss fights are one thing, common grunts not so much. I'm currently waiting on 4 to download. I enjoyed myself enough to buy the 4th game since I've read pretty great things about it, and I want to play it before it feels like Uncharted 1 to me. Its like going back and playing Mass Effect 1 after playing 2 and 3. Getting stun locked by biotic powers was so damn annoying, especially during the justicar fight. You just forget how annoying it was when it was taken out of the sequels. UPDATE: Holy crap this game is beautiful. I played up to Chapter 9 and had to force myself to stop. The story's opening is leaps and bounds better than the previous 3 games, and they actually did a pretty decent job of making it to where you wouldn't be too lost playing this one without the last 3. You'd miss some subtle jokes, but thats about it. The stealth mechanic is much improved to where each enemy has a suspicion meter. The basic mechanics of the game are the same, except reloading has swapped to Triangle rather than R1. The melee system is basically the same with a few added touches. The aim assist is a big noobish as it basically locks on to enemies as long as you keep snapping in and out of aiming. Its different from BF1 and COD as it actually locks and tracks... odd, you can turn it off at any time. Along with jumping and climbing there is now sliding down slopes into jumps, and a grappling hook mechanic thats pretty neat.
  3. I always used the F-14 to grind because the XLAA were a poor man's XMAA. It was worth the small set back in cash. Ace Combat 6 was the first online multiplayer game I ever played on console. I totally wrecked some guy with my F/A-22, I guess he was using the F16 starter plane. He sent me a few messages calling me a cheater for using the F/A-22 and used a bunch of homophobic slurs and he was gonna kick my ass. .... I'm like, how about go beat the campaign before playing MP?
  4. Good, because the mortar is pretty shit now. I can be more disruptive with rifle nades on medic. This should do nicely for support until it gets nerfed because of constant resupply.
  5. 6 Was the first to get multiplayer as it was the first to release in the PS3/360 Era.
  6. Here is a pretty good example of how the game plays Sledge. There is way more lock on danger because hes playing on the hardest difficulty... but he's also using the best damn fighter jet in the game... at least IMO. You def don't start out with the F22.
  7. It was AC3 I last played. I remember getting to a certain mission where I had to 2v1 enemy armors and kept getting my ass handed to me. It was something like that, because I remember my suit being too fucked to take down the second one when I killed one of them. I rage quitted and never played it again.
  8. Sledge and I are on Jade Quarry. But it really doesnt matter as it's for World vs. World only. Open world PvE can be played with anyone one any server.
  9. Hell no. I wish Battlefield had AC controls. BF1 is as close as it gets as it's the only BF that lets you control horizontal and vertical movements on 2 sticks. Assault Horizon, I didn't even finish it, but it had some weird dog fight mode where you zoomed into some weird lock on mode to engaged another jet. I didn't like it and I hope it goes away.
  10. YEEEESSSS!!!!! I hope they have full co-op.
  11. Wow, thats sad. I forgot what the last AC game I played was, but it was a long time ago. I do remember making a bunch of different builds that just didnt work for missions I had to fight 1v1s I was telling Sledge the other day, I remember in Diablo 2 when I had a barbarian speced completely around the whirlwind skill. I was unstoppable once I had my max slots belt where i could keep the mana potions going while I endlessly spun with dual axes. It was such a cheese build, but it worked for 99% of the game. Then when it came time to fight Diablo, that part before you get to him when you open the seals... I opened all 7 of them thinking I could just mow them all down. Me and a friend died instantly and he was super pissed because all our gear was laying in the middle of all of that We managed to get it and make it through some how though in the end. I remember having absurd amounts of strength but no points towards intelligence outside the natural 1 point per level all specs got.
  12. They'll never nerf the damage, if they ever nerf it, it will be the reload time between each shot, which I still don't see them nerfing as you can get 2 shots off with a SMLE before you can get another round chambered with the Martini.
  13. Its pretty traditional actually
  14. 10 kill streak... I love this gun
  15. In the end I think its going to be something lame. I could be wrong. After all The whole Bucky killing Stark's parents in Civil War was a pretty decent twist. I just hope the future movies will find a better balance between humor and action... the humor in VII got a bit redundant and excessive. Fin wasn't funny to me, as the original films had smarter humor mostly based off Han Solo's sarcastic nature.
  16. OK, now that I saw that Zulu skin on levelcap's R7 video, I want it. I'll be buying those boxes when I get home and try to roll it. The ivory and silver is just too beautiful.
  17. Nah, they'd delay it to be a switch 2 launch title.
  18. I loved customizing my load outs and armor in MW2. I vaguely remember it in great detail, I just remember the limitations you had, and the balance you had to keep... you could go overboard and have a huge laser salvo, but it would leave you overheated and vulnerable for a long time. The graphics weren't great, and I remember the vast majority of my battles being won at super long range because I had loadouts consisting of gauss cannons and long range lasers. I only did it because the AI did it to me... but that was most likely because I was running the graphics on lowest settings so I couldn't see the enemies from very far. Most all the maps were super open with only some bad polygonal mountains as cover... very few maps had buildings to fight in, but I did love the arena map. The Hellbringer, Marauder, and Dire Wolf were my favorite models I customized. You could make a shit loadout and lose, overheat, and blow up... and learn from it. Sadly in this day in age it will probably get watered down like Diablo 3 ditching D2's skill tree. I miss the days of tinkering with minute numbers. Hell even the Baulder's Gate/Champions of Norrath games on PS2 had that level of customization... a damn console dungeon crawler. I wish it would make a comeback... hell its not like people don't go to guides for everything anyways. It would just give YTers more content to upload.
  19. Ah yes the 10 hour grind. I worked 1-11 5 days a week, played GW2 from 11:30-4am just about every night. After 2100+ hours my interest has dwindled a lot as i've accomplished the vast majority of what I've wanted too in the game. I'll always come back for Living World episodes and Expansions, but I'll have time to play other things. The downgrade to 8 hour shifts has opened up a lot of time for FPSing again now that decent titles are out to play. Mass Effect Andromeda is going to take attention away from all other gaming for me when it hits.
  20. What's sad is after that abomination Konami makes bombs, they'll just sit on the FOX engine and do nothing with it. Outside of some smaller projects for handhelds and some input on a Castlevania game. Kojima has done MGS and ZoE... but mostly MGS. He kept saying it would be his last one since MGS3, so its probably a blessing in the end he was able to get away from it. The Hype Machine will roll for this game and it will probably come out late 2018/early 2019. Personally I'll know I most likely enjoy the hell out of it, but there will be legions of people expecting an MGS clone and get disappointed that it will be something completely different. I don't have a backlog of games because I guess I can't bring myself to buy a game I know I can't play or beat at the time. I haven't bought watchdogs 2 yet, and I probably will wait for it to become dirt cheap. I'm juggling OW/BF1/GW2 as it is right now.
  21. I was playing overwatch and just wrecking people with D.Va out of her suit. The custom controller gives me a bigger advantage on OW than BF1 since jump shooting is a tactic. I could tell I was throwing everyone off that played an DPS character, because they couldn't hit me worth a shit. I stopped a Hanzo's ult 3 times before he finally was able to get it off. I guess COD is so bad this year, the noobs aren't going away. I wish they would go back to COD.
  22. http://kotaku.com/surprise-mechwarrior-5-is-coming-1789666696 A single player mechwarrior game?!?!?! awwwwwww yeeeeaaaaaaahhh!!! I haven't played a MW game since Ghost Bear Legacy. I was like 12-13 at the time and the family PC couldnt handle MW3, by the time I got my own PC MW games were a thing of the past. lol
