  1. Lunar New Year Festival and new Shatterer in a few weeks... hopefully it will hold me over through Feb. The Division in March and Ratchet & Clank in April is what I'm looking forward to.

I'm more interested in the new shatterer and gliding in the core game than the new festival.

  2. I watched a crafting video along with these. I like the blueprint system, and I like that crafting is more complementary rather than a grindfest. It seems its mostly use to duplicate attachments for convenience. The Beta takes place in 2 weeks for Xbox One, last I looked they didnt mention the PS4/PC beta yet. Hopefully its not too far off.
  3. Here is a new trailer for The Division.

  5. The more COD screws me over, the more I can't wait for For Honor.

What game screws you more tho? COD or Battlefront?

COD. I can go 40-12 on battlefront and still get great xp gains out of a sad loss.

  6. This guy gets abandoned and still hangs in there to win it... wow. Too intense for me, I would have left along with my team.
  7. Homing shot doesnt lock on. I was thinking of Ion Shot... its been a while since I've played. Supremacy would be so awesome if the spawns would be more random. It seems like DICE went really hard out of there way to make this game casual and not a reskin that they overdid it. I feel bad for them because they had a task that was a lose/lose situation from a casual standpoint. They should have made it more like BFBC2 and dealt with the crybabies.
  8. Homing Shot, AT-ST missile, Han's big blaster shot, Turbo Lasers on Sullust, and the Turrets on Hoth can take down Air Vehicles if you're not getting rekted first. Homing Shot and the AT-ST can be evaded like air-air missiles, especially if you're an A-Wing The DL-44 probably wont be nerfed until the 1st DLC... they are just giving everyone a bang for their buck that preordered... actually they met with Anet and decided to nerf it as soon as you unlock it. The clipping is real on Endor Next time you're on Tatooine walker assault, get in the A-wing immediately you can camp the TIE Fighter spawn really easily when you find it, plus troll anyone that spawns into an AT-ST by shield ramming them immediately.
  9. After HoT Mesmer/Chrono feels so weak compared to Reaper and DH.

Until they separate pvp and pve skills I don't they'll they'll ever have a good balance. :/

Chrono has monster support with alacrity and reflects and is great in dungeon's and raids... but just for open world solo roaming, its not really cutting it. The well cast time is a bit long I've notice as I've accidentally cancel them out by dodging or attacking numerous times.

  10. I got to the first prestige and what do you know? The very last gun you unlock is a monster. The M8A7 is a dream come true. 4 round burst, 1-2 burst kill depending on range. Sadly its the only gun I like in this game. As soon as I got it I started ripping off doubles and triples like no ones business... Why every gun doesn't perform like this is beyond me. It would actually make it a great game... at least you can use permanent unlock... something I could only dream of using on the AK-47 on MW2.
  11. The more videos I watch of this game and see the opinions, the sadder I get about the state of FPS. People actually think this COD is good? They think these guns have balance? I'll admit I have fun when playing with a team of 6 friends... but solo this game is straight trash... even duoing it. If MW2 Remastered came out, i have a bad feeling they'd screw it to hell with "balancing"... noob tubing was an issue... but it was a part of the charm that made the game fun.... UMP45, SCAR-H, Vector, and the AUG-HBAR would get nerfed in today's gaming world, along with just about any Pro perk... Cold Blooded Pro? buh bye! Hell if COD4 was a modern game the MP5, M16, M1014, AK-74u, and RPD would probably have been nerfed into oblivion.... I hate buying a game I like only for the things I like about it to be taken away.... this is what ruined Destiny for me... and this is what I fear for The Division... Dark Zones could take priority over the majority of the game's features... the balancing could revolve around Dark Zone which is what would make me despise the game more than anything.
  12. After 1700 hours of gameplay, I finally have the most beautiful legendary weapon in Guild Wars 2.

That flesh golem has become way more useful since that enemy aoe patch. :D

Even without running MM it's the best elite. It's a ranger pet equivalent at worst and a breaker bar skill otherwise.

I had to stop using him for a while yesterday tho. Flesh golems biggest flaw was keeping me in combat while I was trying to do some jumping puzzles. X_x

  13. Homing shot is easily avoided, just go behind a tree, structure, or down hill... you can even jump at the last second and only take damage without dying. I stopped using it because people figured it out and its hard to get kills with since you get ample warning that someone is locking, has a lock on you, and missile incoming. as for cards, I use Scan Pulse, it shows enemies around you for a brief time... when you pick up charges they only go to that card so don't save them up for one card and think you'll have it for the next card you unlock.
  14. Sadly that's the state of the game. People trying to kill farm instead of playing the objective. I did an hour survey for them the other day and suggested changes such as heavy nerfs to kill xp and significant buffs to objective captures and the win bonus.
  15. The pulse cannon is a one hit kill fully charged from any range. I run that and the barrage which you have a ways to go to get. 2 grenades is nice as well if you have the thermal denotator. The heavy blasters are good to start, but the SE-14C is your best bet as soon as you can unlock it. It can go toe-toe with the DL-44 and is more forgiving. The EE-3 is the best blaster rifle and has a significant range advantage, but you won't beat a blaster pistol up close. The T-21 and it's B variant are solid long range options. They are 2-3 hit kills, but have slow rate of fire. Oh and if you ever see the option to spawn as the Honor Guard or Shock Trooper, don't pass it up. It's almost as good as being a hero, your weapons are OP variants and you have the Homing Shot and Smart Rocket on CD.
  16. The Vesper is stupid OP at close range. Moreso than the PM63 in BO1. I don't get Treyarch's love affair with SMGs.

  17. Some games aren't fun to watch streaming. Watching some guy walk around talking to vendors in The Division is morbidly boring... but if I was playing it would be interesting to me. XD

People would hate watching me play a game. 20 minutes of me sitting in my inventory screen organizing items by usefullness and expense, then I unpause and get killed. The checkpoint was before my inventory management.. *repeats 20 minutes of organizing* XD

  18. Really they were damned if you do, damned if you don't by even making movies. If they made EU movies based on books or just canon they would have done something that one side or another would bitch about. They're dealing with a cast of characters whose health is questionable for the 8+ year commitment because of age. 3CPO, R2D2, and Chewie could all survive an actor death, Ford, Fisher, and Hamill would cause a big issue. For me, I never read EU books. I know the canon, but I had no investment in it. So I look forward to all the films like I do marvel films. I get where EU people are coming from, but I can't relate. The film was by no means perfect, but it was way better than the prequels because the acting was believable and just better overall. Not to say all the actors of the prequels were bad. Ewan McGregor said he'd do a Obi-Wan spin off film, and I'd be all for that.
  19. Yeah consoles will never go away. People just don't care to learn how relatively easy it is to upgrade computer components. It's even a pain in the ass to me. Spending $300 on a circuit board with fans when you can spend $400 on a whole console is a no brainer for the causal gamer. You buy the console and you're ensured that all the games will work for the next 5-8 years. Plus the publishers make AAA games for consoles and then port them to PC if they are lucky. Less piracy risks will always make console gaming king. To this day you can't play Red Dead Redemption on PC, and that's a shame. The master race is missing out on one of the best open world sandbox games ever made.
  20. People are being complete assholes and posting spoilers everywhere. I saw spoilers in a news article unrelated to star wars.
  21. Saw it. Not better than the IV-VI. Better than I-III Non Spoiler Liked: New lead characters are solid Practical sets/effects gave it a more real feeling The First Order still has that Empire smell to it It sets up for the next film really well Disliked: Some scenes felt rushed, movie could have been 30 minute longer to fix that A little to heavy handed on nostalgic fan service to the point of being forced/out of place Some of the newer interesting characters were grossly underutilized. Spoiler Liked/Disliked I liked it, and look forward to the next film.... If you're too engrossed in the EU, you'll probably hate it, because it truly does disregard everything about the EU and makes sure to rub it in your face almost.
  22. People buy their consoles to game mostly, and game in a certain way... with a standard controller. Microsoft tried to do way to much with XBOX... all that is secondary to gaming, and are nice afterthoughts, but no one wants to pay for them, because they didn't ask for it in the first place. Nintendo's gimmicks make me scratch my head... Their handheld market is so strong because its the closest their fans can get to normal gaming with classic buttons. You think they'd have learned by now after Power Pad, Zapper, Superscope 6, Power Glove, R.O.B., Wii Mote, Wii U game pad.... the list goes on. Sony def doesn't need to be the only console on the market, it will just cause a PS3 era type blunder with no competition to make them change. In a fantasy world Nintendo would make Gamecube 2 and actually put hardware that was next gen in it.
  23. Yay! Wintersday! They remembered to update Toxx in Toypocalypse, but not Tixx in the dungeon... it melted in seconds. XD

  24. I think they made the TTK worse in this game just so you couldn't easily take out people that overuse wall run.
  25. More thoughts now that I've put some time into it: This COD is middle of the road. It had potential, but it falls on its face. I'd rank it over MW3 and AW, but its not better than BO1, MW2, MW1, or WAW. The maps are great, but the guns are really bad as a whole, and to make it worse, the guns you get access two around the last 15 levels are greatly superior to the staring weapons... its not even close. The Shevia, Razorback, and the M8 are leaps and bounds better than anything in their respective classes.. the 48 Dredge is about the best thing you get sorta early on. While its an outstanding one burst kill weapon, it has LMG reload speed and it eats through ammo really fast seeing as its a 6 round burst on a 60 round mag. This balance issue is really what kills the game from being really good. (I heard the Razorback was even more OP in the beta). The perception of casual has really ruined gaming IMO. I see it hurting GW2, Battlefront, or just about any recent mutliplayer game that's AAA recently. Its been hurting COD for a long long time though. It all comes down to the gunplay for COD. In COD4, WAW, and MW2 guns were very leathal, and rewarded you for being good at aiming. BO1 kinda toned down the TTK on guns, but it wasn't that bad... now its just a hitmarker shitfest. Gunplay is so weak, it levels out the playing field for people that can't really aim from target to target fast. TTK is so bad that getting a triple kill should be a trophy or something. I heard Ghosts had an insane TTK, but the maps were so large and empty it ruined the game... not surprising since Infinity Ward 2.0 can't make a map to save their life. BO3 TTK is worse than Battlefield TTK... this type of gunplay doesn't belong in a game where the maps are way smaller and the pace is a lot faster. COD is suppose to be casual... but purposely programming a game to increasingly punish veterans of the series is not good game design... at least death streaks are gone. The specialization system is interesting, but you only see 4 of like the 20+ being used. (Gravity Spikes, Sparrow, H.I.V.E., and Purifier), and for good reason, these 4 are better than the rest of them. The only reason you may see a Nomad use Rejack instead of H.I.V.E. or an Outrider using Vision Pulse instead of Sparrow is because they are doing the class challenges.
