Use secret handshake. Even at 331 it will still kill because it's fast rate of fire.
-
Well I found a new use for Red Death... that thing wrecks teeth from a good range. If you're team is losing, pull that bad boy out and start farming kills from a distance when the other team is good at locking down the control points. It's healing after kills ability cancels Thorn burn as well. I'm going to ascend my Oversoul Edict just to see how that is.
-
When you reach rank 3, you have a chance at Felwinter dropping. That's what I'm most interested in outside the Etheric Light. I don't know if they could have beaten us. Everyone on my team has made it to the lighthouse on ToO except me. They are pretty damn good. I think we lost twice in 15 matches. Even when we were down we always were in the game. It's def more fun when you have a full team that can lock down B. Every match was an epic struggle for B like when we played on Mecury.

Mad Max: Fury Road - First Look Trailer
DeathscytheX replied to Sledgstone's topic in Movies, TV & Books
The plot is super weak, and there is very little dialog... this movie is a 2 hour + chase scene with a shit ton of amazing action sequences done mostly with old school practical effects. Its a fun watch and is def an inspiration to old 80s action films.- 8 replies

I can complain about the p2p hosting... but one thing is for sure. if you have a party of 6, you are going to play a party of 6. My co-worker's clan has one annoying guy in it that talks non-stop. The rest of them are really nice guys. They are the only reason I have VoG and Crota gear, and have beaten nightfalls, and PoE 32 and above. I played a bunch of IB after you guys got off and we faced some pretty stiff competition. We were well organized and we still had some epic come from behind wins. That at least tells me the matchmaking is doing a good job with what it has to work with... for the most part. We got paired up with a bunch of 32s and we were 34s... we crushed them so hard for 4 matches before they left.

Got my Invective to 365... I'm ready for some Iron Banner!
-
It's a bit slower, but it does 4 rounds at a time. Plus you can pick up special so you have the best of both worlds.
-
You really need it. Next time your exotic bounties pop and its there, pick it. Its amazing in Iron Banner. Only Felwinter's Lie can beat you if they get an accurate shot on it. The rate of fire is scout rifle level, and its range it's second to Felwinter. Plus it has a wicked optic on it. This is my favorite Exotic... even if I got Gjallarhorn, this would still be my favorite because it wrecks in PVE and PVP. Gjallarhorn is just a OP situational PVE weapon.

This is the best thing I've ever funded. I need the soundtrack ASAP. The Hoff made a music video for it

That scout rifle looks like Fallen tech, it sorta looks like Dreg's Promise in SR form. As much as I like having two characters to level up my exotics fast, UGH is it tedious to do the same exact things over again. I got the regen ammo for Invective, and now I just need to get its last 4 damage nodes leveled up. Playing crucible with the base model was great so I can't wait for the full 365 version of it to start wrecking... the insane rate of fire nets me double downs easily. It's impact isnt the best, but if it was it would be the most OP crucible weapon in the game. During my second "6 patrol missions on the moon" I got a legendary primary engram from a wolves chest... I had a feeling it would be an exotic, and it was... only problem is that it was a SUROS LOL. I want Hawkmoon to pair with my Party Crasher +1 so I can flip between that and TDYK/Invective. I just wish they would ask their neighbors at one of the COD studios to see how to better combat lag switchers... not that it doesn't exist in COD anymore, but its a lot less prevalent and certainly a lot less flagrant than what I've seen in Crucible. Some of these guys are just the worst of the worst. Playing with Sledge today we ran into quite a few. On one guy I unloaded 4 invective rounds point blank and melee'd him twice only to be shot from behind by the guy. I know Sledge caught him with no health and couldn't put him down with more than the 1 shot that should have finished him off. If someone bests me in a CQC bout, I'm okay with that, I'm not ok when I unload 8 rounds from The Last Word, and melee you and you don't lose any health. People like that just encourage the use of Thorn even more, and who can blame them? At least you have a chance of burning them as they lag. Thorn is a mediocre hand cannon with a wicked perk. It has no range, sub-par impact, and a standard rate of fire. It doesn't stand a chance against The Last Word 1v1... unless you are facing a cheater.. then maybe you can burn him while he lags around. Thorn is only annoying to me because it leaves me in such a weak state when I kill someone using it. I'd say 60% of my deaths come from someone else finishing me off after getting hit by thorn by their teammate. It takes 3 hits from Thorn to kill someone. 2 hits will bring you to almost zero health and keep you there for a good 3-4 seconds. Last Word can kill someone in 3 crits or 1-2 crits and 3 body shots... faster than Thorn can fire off 3. TDYK can kill anyone in 4 body shots, if you have "Send It" it can be from across the map. Hand Cannons are king in crucible... which its odd Bungie is ok with that seeing as Suros and Hardlight use to be king so they nerfed auto rifles to where Suros is still ok, but Hardlight is complete garbage. I don't want them to nerf Hand Cannons, but I would like to see Auto Rifles buffed again, and buff everything else with it if that's the solution. Right now It's either use a Hand Cannon and a Fusion Rifle, or sit back and snipe.... no one uses Scout Rilfes... you'll either be outgunned by Red Death or a Hand Cannon every time.

http://www.destinydb.com/items/1619609940-khepris-sting Would the ability to go invisible as gunslinger interest you. Like thr weapons thr new armors start at the highest defense value and only have 3 nodes to upgrade.

This week's Heroic is horrible for PUG. I guess since it is new, people just have a hard time with it. Its really not that difficult.. especially with Specialist as the buff. Ice Breaker or any sniper rifle will tear off the walkers legs and then wreck Tanniks easy. The Bad Juju crucible section really isnt as bad as it looks. It may take around an hour to complete, one really good match can complete half of it. Bad Juju is good for getting your super frequently but I really didn't like the gun at all so I scrapped it for a shard. I'm not a big fan of pulse rifles in general so that may be a factor in why i didn't like it very much. I finished my Invective bounty today, and I must say its quite nice. I'm putting Ice Breaker on the back burner so I can get Invective ready for Iron Banner Tuesday. The crucible part was a little stressful since deaths negatively impacted your progress. I had to totally change the way I play Control to get it. I've gotten the hang of The Last Word and it's beastly in Crucible as long as you aren't fighting two people at once, I'm going to have to adjust to TDYK's slower rate of fire, so I can use Invective... It was definitely a satisfying bounty to complete. Since Xur was selling the gauntlet engram this week I decided to try and get the ADC/0 Feedback Fence for my Titan and I was successful. If someone melees me I can take half their health by the AoE damage that triggers from me getting hit. I plan on using this as my crucible build to get cheap kills when I lose a CQC battle. The only problem is I had to use my Etheric light on my legendary helmet to get me back to 34... this sets back my Warlock even more. I should be on tomorrow around 1:30-2pm ET to help you guys with PoE 32. I'll be on all day leveling up my Invective and ADC/0.
-
Right now I'm all about getting my exotics upgraded and spamming the big chest in hopes of a gallarhorn. Once I get that and max it I'll probably get bored with it for a bit. I'm looking forward to the next Iron Banner though. I finally have a max level character. I just hope Xur sells Plan C again before then.

I got Ice Breaker from the Nightfall!! Woo Hoo!!!!

The Angel of Light perk is a must for warlock. That floaty jump is too fickle and can be interrupted by anything. Angel of Light locks you in place in the air for 2-3 seconds when you ADS. It's a life saver. I'll try to have my Ice Breaker leveled up by Sunday to where it at least has infinite ammo. At level 32, pelting him in the face with sniper shots downs him moderately fast. Personally I think Bungie dropped the ball with this boss.. ok Cool, you have a solar burn ground burner boss... 3 defender titans with blessings of light can annihilate him like he is a joke, but any fire team of all hunters is just SOL unless they all have the Bones of Eao boots than can't even be obtained yet.
-
I'm off Sunday and will have a level 34 titan to help you with PoE. My warlock is on the back burner because he is selling a chest this week and my coworker said none of his clan will be willing to do 34 again this week since the Vex boss is harder than Skolas. Urrox is level 32 this week and with me being the only titan, both of you will have to golden gun and make orbs for me between his rage burning the floor. Without my blessing of light, hunters are screwed. Having solar burn again on him this week is bs.

I got my Warlock to 33 today, and tried my hand at Trails of Osiris. I doubt I'll ever see the lighthouse . I've never been good a small team games like Search and Destroy and what not... Trials is pretty flawed to begin with and needs to change a few things. For one, they need to use more maps... this probably will never happen since its mercury themed. But they at least need to alternate sides at the half way point. It seems the battle always takes place in the same room across two sets of stairs.. not very exciting IMO. Thorn is everywhere, and rightfully so.. you need a high damage weapon or else you aren't going to do anything. Hiding in one room eliminates a vast array of weapon loud outs. Lastly, don't bother with rocket launchers that have tracking on the heavy round... half the time it wont register. Lag is a bad issue as well. We even ran into a cheater that lag switched us while he went and revived his whole team. To use he was just invincible walking in a straight line, next thing we know here comes the whole team rushing into the room. The Last Word is pretty good for crucible. You really have to ring all head shots for it to be effective though or you will never win against Thorn. A few days ago I dusted off The Devil You Know and lets just say its a hidden gem that only those who held on to it are privileged to have. I'll be ascending it tomorrow and I will probably use it for Iron Banner. Its a 3-4 body shot kill every time. Observe:

The vanguard one can't be reforged? I ended up getting Dry Rot from the strike list, it was void with garbage perks so I reforge it and it ended up being solar with perks I like.

https://www.reddit.com/r/DestinyTheGame/comments/371sdj/poe_guides_rewards/ As I figured, big chest loot doesn't change. So if you want to farm for that elusive Gally, just blow through 28. My luck was too good when that legendary engram dropped when we did the strike. It turned into exotic hunter gauntlets. So now my Warlock is stuck at 30 until I rank up to vanguard 2 and buy the two armor pieces and blow my etheric lights on him. Or just wait two weeks and spend the light on weapons for my Titan that will be 34 after reset. EDIT: I did PoE with my Warlock and got Thunderlord... disappointing but I must say it is quite the beast... I'll keep it for Arc Burn situations in PoE. I have mostly all the queen's weapons except for Her Mercy... the one I actually want... here is a run down of what I think of them so far. Her Right Hand - Garbage auto rifle.. medicore stability and small mag makes this weapon completely pointless despite is above average impact for an AR. Her Benevolence - Wicked sniper rifle. i don't know how it would compare to an ascended The Supremacy, but it packs a punch. Its fire rate is a bit slow, but that also helps with ensuring you get the extra shot when you have Triple Tap. Wolve's Bane - Not interested in using it. 23 round mag on an LMG? pass... If you ever roll Against All Odds you'll see that these small mag LMGs aren't worth a damn. The Dreamwaker - solid rocket launcher... nothing special. Her Courtesy - This shotgun is a monster... my only complaints about it would make it ultra OP if they were fixed to my liking. The drawback to this weapon is its slow rate of fire and even more insanely slow reload... but it has above average range and massive impact for a shotgun. This thing will take a captains shields and almost all his health in one blast. I have flared magwell on mine, so I'll report back when I get a faster reload. Techeun Force - I haven't tried it yet, but the range and impact are really high for a fusion rifle... like the shotgun however it looks like it will suffer from a slow charge rate to compensate from being well above average in areas that are generally shortcomings for these types of weapons. Payment VI - Don't have the Pulse Rifle... is the only other weapon beside Her Mercy I don't have.
-
Nice, I been wanting Her Mercy since the list of weapons came out before HoW's release. Spolier alert: The big chest loot doesn't get better with difficulty. The level 28 chest was my best roll. The smaller chests get marginally better I think, but I've never rolled another exotic from 32 or 34. The only perks for the harder difficulties are the armor/weapon cores and etheric light. I'm starting to realize the raid level type "Adept" weapons are only obtainable by getting to the Lighthouse via Trials of Osiris. We really need to get more characters to take advantage of multi-spamming these events for more chances at loot. I've been so lazy about be because I don't feel like playing the base game with garbage weapons. I managed to get my Warlock to 17 tonight. I bought the chest piece from xur today and I rolled a legendary HoW helmet. I'll just need boots and gloves to instantly get to 31-32 upon reaching 20. I'll have a ways to go on leveling Sunsinger. The self-revive is invaluable at times. with my coworkers we ran double defender titans and a warlock... which seems to be ideal for the Urrox at least. I also rolled Helm of Saint-14 for my Titan off an Engram. Blinding enemies in the bubble is basically a necessity for harder PoE levels so I am working on getting that leveled so I can be 33 with it equipped.
-
I have 82 strange coins. Key farming FTW! , watch Xur have the lamest sale ever tomorrow.
-
I just bought the last word from xur. and now I feel like an idiot for trading in my ice breaker the other week since ascending is so easy. I'm glad I saved my purple reward at the postmaster I got a great legendary scout rifle with hammer forged / over penetrating rounds, firefly and luck in the chamber. The best upgrades I could have hoped for.

That loot tho.... The Dragon Strike Playlist seems to be a lot more friendly with the drops. You still get your rounds of blues, ships, and shaders... but Legendaries pop up a lot more. One round I got 2 legendary armor engrams as the end reward, and I got Loner.Rebel 2 strikes before that... normally you could say it was my luck, but I saw other people get Loner.Rebel and some Fusion Rifles. I beat PoE level 32 today and got an armor core. I bought the guantlets Variks was selling this week so I could get to 33. If Xur sells boots or a chest piece for Titans this week I'll buy it. I was able to beat level 34 as well and got a weapon core and Etheric Light. I am holding on to the Etheric light so I can see what Variks offers next week and after I make that purchase I can equip the corresponding Xur item and ascend the last piece of armor to get to level 34. I'm also holding on to my weapon core until he sells Six Dreg Pride II. The one that drops is kenetic, but the one he will sell will have solar, arc, or void damage. http://www.destinydb.com/items/270944924 Once you get to level 34 PoE things start getting crazy. Thats when the bosses have abilities like burning the ground, or changing shields. I've only fought the Hive and Cabal bosses on hard mode. I played the Vex boss on the 28 playlist and I don't ever want to roll him on the higher levels. The place became infested with a ton of Axis Hobgoblins making it a nightmare even at 28. We rolled the Hive boss on the 34 playlist and Solar Burn rolls as the modifier this week... yeah that burning the ground thing is a solar attack... X_x... Hopefully next week I'll be able to try level 35 when I reach 34. This is where PoE thrives and it gets really fun. I can see why they made the new armor and weapons come standard with max power, allowing people to jump right into PoE. Def ascend your armor first before your weapons. I didn't know how I was going to do with lack luster weapons, but the queen's scout rifle worked great for a bit until I decided to scrap Patience and Time to ascended Suros in a time of dire need. I scrapped Monte Carlo to ascend my Helm, and I'm going to scrap Hard Light or Bad Juju to ascend Mythoclast. (Exotics only require a shard to ascend and not Etheric Light) I really like Bungie's approach with showering us with new loot. Chest farming is still available and seems to be a permanent fixture of the game now. Its the legit way to get keys... of course I ended up getting another key from the small chest in the treasure room. Out of 5 times I've yet to roll another exotic weapon from the chest. Letting us get to max level with a 3 man team was the right way to go. I have the early shift Friday and I am off Saturday. My co-worker wants me to team up for Trials of Osiris, but I'm sure I'll just drag the team and down cause them to get booted for the week fairly quickly. I should be available to run the story with you guys and PoE... I need to farm for more keys now, I used mine up.
-
WTF anet... My Necro looks like she is playing tennis when using an Axe now...
-
I GOT VEX MYTHOCLAST!! WOO HOO!!... ok now that thats out of the way .... The House of Wolves is an insane improvement over Dark Below. The story missions are better than the original campaign which still doesn't make much of any sense yet. The voice acting is great as well. The Shadow Thief strike is a blast and will throw you off your game the first time you play it. Prison of Elders is a blast, you really have to have good maxed weapons and a full team to beat 32. I wasn't able to do that and I need to max my weapons out. The level 28 playlist is matchmade and as a level 32 its fun but way too easy. It would be more fun for lower level players. If you fail a room, it checkpoints so no worries if things don't go as planned. You cannot access PoE until you finish the story missions. Upon beating PoE level 28 your first time I'm almost 100% certain you are guaranteed 1 legendary and 1 exotic drop. I got Hard Light, which im kinda iffy about. My co-worker got Hawkmoon the lucky bastard. I played it again to see if I could roll another exotic and only got 1 legendary... but it was a scout rifle with firefly so i can't complain. Exotic drops from HoW are automatically ascended so it's a big plus getting them from there rather than the raid. Not counting Mythoclast, in one sitting I got Monte Carlo and Hardlight. I also got a Queen's rocket launcher, scout rifle, and auto rifle. Oh an on and ending note, buying a set of armor from the vanguard gets you to 32 automatically with no leveling required. i was lucky enough to get boots and a chest piece from farmed engrams and I bought a helm. EDIT: After your first story mission you get a new special weapon called the Vestian Dynasty. Its a sidearm. At first I was skeptical of this little pocket pistol because it has horrible impact... but TBH its super OP. I hope bungie doesn't nerf this little hidden gem, because everyone has access to it that got the DLC. It has maxed stability and a crazy rate of fire.... plus its a special weapon that has 128 rounds of ammo! Its not going to take down a Cabal Ultra, but it will kill hive knights like they are nothing, and it will drop a Fallen Captain's shield so fast. It has amazing DPS on accurate damage. I was popping 800+ a shot twice every second.. so 1600+ DPS. It also has a special perk that suppresses captain's abilities. This little guy aint no joke. Oh and FYI the Daily Heroic Hard and Nightfall are now Level 32... get that armor up fast.
