Universal Remote is tempting only for crucible mode as its a shotgun that is a primary. http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/704532-destiny/70177239 I'm so intrigued by this, I bought Blessing of the Gifted since I don't need an exotic helm engram from Xur this week.

    Oh FYI Material exchange was removed from Xur the first few days the game released. I guess people were farming it wildly and Bungie put an end to it.

    I was looking through legendary and exotic weapons on destiny's wiki and Vault of Glass is def the way to go. Even if you don't get the Mythoclast, there are a few legendary primary weapons that have elemental damage. I remember in the beta how just about every rifle I found had elemental. I kinda wish I would have saved the names of these rifles because the sights on most of them were superior to anything I've seen in the game so far. I'm curious if we will see this later down the line, because as of right now, there really isn't a lot of weapons in the game.

    I hit rank 3 of FWC and got a crumby mote of light. I am hoping this wasn't nerfed and level 4 and after will postmaster me 2 legendaries.

    They let you buy resources up until tier 6 level stuff. You have to farm it. You need 100 for most things but while the drop rate is small, it's more than ascended stuff in Destiny. And they drop as loot as well as appear in random loot bags and chests.

    I leveled up my Cryptarch 3 times today, and each time I got all blues. I use to get purples regularly from each level after 5 or 6, so I assume that was nerfed with the loot patch. Its pretty BS considering more than half the purples you get is crap you cant use.

    The Strike Playlist is def the way to go. I just wish they didn't cap the vanguard marks every week... what is the point after you are all decked out anyways? Its not like you can get enough ascended energies and shards to max everything out.

    Having to do Level 22 Archon Priest and then Level 24 Moon Stirke down one person was intense... but Strider and I pulled it off.

      Heh, you just might but who knows how the Iron Banner event is run loot wise (I have yet to try it). I'll be on at my usual time so it you're on we can do that or Strikes (still need 35 more vanguard marks for my sniper rifle).

    Its not just the character reboots, its the hard -n they have for trying to legitimize Aquaman.... no matter what you do, he will never be a fan favorite, and will always be the blunt of jokes.

    I'm assuming there will be an level 30 strike playlist once the games population gets to that point. I would put up restrictions to where only level 30 players can play, and awards are legendary materials and engrams. It would reward you for being at that point along with helping you progress another character class more quickly, or other legendary/exotic equipment you want to use, but not until you can level it up to par.

    Well, I'm thrilled with how epically badass her appearance was. Also, skipping transformations that would generally take up 1/4th of an episode is a plus. When you have 5-7 of them doing transformations it gets redundant. This series ditches the campy GI-JOE like PSAs and what not and focuses on the Manga.     I've watched a lot of shit anime... because I have this thing where once I start one, I have to finish it. I like this one... but I am at a point that I know it is going to let me down in the end. Its definitely not what I expected in a unfavorable way. From what I have gathered, you dislike a lot of the anime I found to be a waste, but also some that I like. Give me a list of your top 5, and I shall check them out.

    Did you really go watch this film AND the latest Transformers film? I decided never to watch another Michael Bay film ever again.... I actually liked TF1... but hated TF2... subjected myself to TF3 on Netflix... in which it took me 2 days to finish... and I regret it.... never again....

    I hit the maximum Vanguard marks for the week. I got my 3rd Exotic, and I'll probably buy a legendary hand cannon to completment my exotic machine gun load out.

      Let me clarify that the exotic weapons share the same max damage cap, while armor defense caps are higher than legendary.

      The exotic armor special traits seem much more beneficial than the weapon specials. The increased defense is good but the bonus light is definitely better. Maybe a new class of exotic weapons will have light bonuses next.

    The reason public events are worth farming is that you have a chance at getting legendary shards or energies even after you get your daily post master reward. Its not gauranteed everytime, but I've got my hands on 4 so far this week doing it. EDIT: After doing Tiger Strike playlist, its def the way to go for farming unique items, vanguard marks, and rep. I didn't get any legendary materials for upgrades, but I got a new shader, and hit Cryptarch rank 10. With no insane modifiers like juggler, the strikes are fairly easy.

    I cleaned up my bounties and got the moat of light I needed to buy the Exotic Engram.... what do ya know? I got myself an exotic helm! Two things from Xur in one day... I call that a successful play session. Its real adjustment switching from hand cannons to pulse rifle. I'll reserve my judgement until I max it out, but I still like my blue hand cannon better. Over the years I've went from a spray and pray run and gun type mentality with the MP5, Type 100, AK47, FAL Full Auto on COD, to a precision shooter starting with the DMR's on Battlefield, M14 on PAYDAY2, and now scout rifles and hand cannons on Destiny. I love the one shot head pop. I'm kinda missing it right now, but I'm looking forward to this guns perks... and my defender class is shaping up quite nicely to be a good companion to it. I also farmed some Old Russia public events. The timer showed its flaws when I first landed in.... The Steppes public event launched and it wasn't due for another 16 minutes according to the website. I was able to get the Mothyard and Divide events to spawn for me. I have the least success at the Forgotten Shore, even though its uncommon and not rare. Skywatch is highly reliable one, but I'm too lazy to run through the hive room and the subsequent battle between hive and fallen just to get to it. Its only a minute ahead of Mothyard so I just stick with that area since it is close and seems to have a good success rate of triggering.

    I ended up giving GW2 some love last night because I haven't played it in a bit, and Monthly Challenges started.... Tequatl need a beat down at my hands anyways. I had the late to early shift connection, so I only played for about 30 minutes tonight. I knocked out 2 bounties, and I took out a Devil Walker solo on a public event. I have 24 Strange Coins... I'm hoping I can buy a weapon tomorrow when Xur shows up.
