What has become a series of PR blunders leading up to the Launch of Xbox One, You might think you were reading an article from the Onion when Microsoft warned its potential customers to stand the console up vertically at your own risk because it may cause damage. Um, what? Something that became a fad last gen for all consoles is apparently not recommended for what Microsoft touted as the future of entertainment media. Here is the direct quote from Albert Panello, senior director of product management and planning at Xbox: He went on to say that 80% of 360 owners do indeed have their console in the vertical position. Its also worth noting that Wii, PS3 and PS4 have slot loading drives and they stand on their side with no problem. If you google image search Xbox One you'll be hard pressed to find an image of the console on its side that's not a Photoshopped sized comparison chart. It will be interesting to see what happens when people have their X1's stacked on its side... Will MS run a PR campaign? Will they put a sticker on the console with a warning? Time will tell. One has to wonder if this was a last minute discovery during testing that will be fixed on future models. For more detail on this check out gamespots' article: http://uk.gamespot.c...n-risk-6414731/ Click here to view the article

Potential Spoilers.. what are some gaming moments that caught you off guard? I remember I was like WTF?! All this hard work for me to F'n die?! Piloting Metal Gear Rex was the most bad ass moment of this generation IMO. The hard fought battle on PSX in MGS1 helped you appreciate being able to pilot this infamous beast. Crushing Ray was a bonus. All of Twisted Metal 2 endings outside of Roadkill.... These were crazy... You beat the game and your characters wish was so jacked up.

I'm sure that can be implemented. BF3 "patches" were just to fix compatibility issues for people that didn't have the extra maps, I remember I always had the maps the day they released because the "patch" downloaded them previously and became unlocked on release day. The downloads took forever. 2.4-3 gigs for a patch aint fooling anyone. LOL.

It looks like LIMBO with turn based fighting. I normally dont like turn based games, but I could see myself picking this up on a PS4 special sale. The art style is beautiful.

I preordered this on a whim because all the gaming sites were raving about it. I thought the trailers were pretty neat, but after watching this. I'm thrilled that I preordered it. I can't wait to delve into this world of hacking.

I like this solely for the Download commands. I probably wont use it for much else outside of checking who is online like I did with my XBL app. It will be nice to tell my PS4 to start the download on my BF4 DLC while I'm at work, so it will be ready when I get home.

You definitely need to play it, its probably my favorite MGS since MGS1. Although this game doubles as a movie. A lot of the cut scenes are 30min to an hour, they do have some alternate view angles at times. The best part about them however, is you can pause them. I remember the first time i pressed start because I was pressed for time and it paused instead of skipping the whole thing I was relieved. It was my first play through and I was pissed I was having to skip it only to find out I didn't have to skip it.

This gen there wasnt much difference between the two consoles, but when Sony 1st party games start looking vastly superior to anything brought out on xbox, Its going to raise questions.

Did you ever play MGS4? The install from the disc was horrible. You had to sit there and watch Snake smoke for 30 minutes. It seems like they fixed this years later however.

IGN provides a quick look at the Playstation app which will be available for iOS and Android. The Playstation app will allow you to interact with your PS4 whether it be watching friends living streaming or telling your PS4 to download a game while you are away. Click here to view the article

Watch 14 minutes of non mission open world gameplay. Watch Dogs looks to be truly innovative in the sandbox genre. Click here to view the article

I hope that's a current gen trailer because the graphics certainly portray it to be. The 1st trailer was betting IMO.

Hopefully that's cleared up on PS4. On 360 I downloaded the beta and played it immediately. Even with PS+ being paid, It will still take them a year or so to catch up IMO. They don't have the same funds starting up that Xbox 360 did from Xbox for their online service going in.

Yes the second one was really really bad. They definitely threw away the formal from the first and just went the path of every other video game to movie adaption. Are you talking about Mortal Kombat Conquest? I never did get to watch it, but looking it up on youtube, they seem to have every episode.

I had to play Wake Island in BF2, BF 1943, and BF3. I was glad it wasn't in Bad Company 2. Not a bad map. I'm just really really tired of it. lol
