  1. I'll have to check it out. I think I've seen that around... I think we've had this discussion before... Did I ever tell you about Satan's Blood? http://www.hotsauceworld.com/satansblood.html 800,000 on the scoville chart, its the hottest sauce I've ever attempted and it leaves your stomach feeling like someone poured hot lead into it. It doesn't taste very good either. Its very pungent and bitter. That being said... FUCK THIS: http://www.hotsauceworld.com/bl3amrepeex.html You'll have to pay me A LOT to try that. There is a rare one that tops 16 million on the scale too: http://www.hotsauceworld.com/bl6amrepeexe.html http://www.hotsauceworld.com/hsw1207.html I do like their 50,000 scoville sauce. Its very hot, but it tastes pretty good. At one time I thought this was the hottest hot sauce ever.
  2. Are there still theaters with non-studio seating? I remember in the 80s and 90s when some ass with big hair or someone that was 7ft tall would sit in front of me. I'd have to enjoy my films with a silhouette of a head blocking a portion of the screen. They'd never be still either. Every time I'd tilt my head, they would too.
  3. Hmm I just noticed that. I wonder if they have the regular. We don't have those down here. I sent a package of samplers to a friend in VA that doesn't have access to Louisiana, he seems to love the Chipotle... being as I'm not a huge fan of the chipotle flavor I couldn't comment. Habanero might be good, but it could be bitter.
  4. ... psst its right next to the Texas Pete in your first pic, thus why i asked... !!!
  5. Wow... Normal prices now here are $10.50 for late showing and $6-7 for early showing... just 5 years ago it was $7 and $4.50 respectively... And that was before they started showing TV commercials before the trailers wtf? Anyways, the industry took a big hit here... you have to buy your tickets at the concession stands now because they can only afford to pay people to work the ticket stands on Fridays and Saturdays. We now have "Stimulus Tuesdays" in which movies are $5 all day and popcorn and a drink is $2. And then "Super Bargain Matinee" is $5 for a movie that start time falls in the window of 4-5:30.
  6. Finally Netflix got Eden of the East's second movie... I dont know why they stopped making episodes and made "long episodes" that pose as films... great series. More of an intellectual drama than anything else.

X'D Oh come on you know you liked it. The original op is so much better. Falling Down by Oasis fit the show so well

I'm not denying it was a catchy tune.... but once install into the brain, it becomes torture! lol

  7. Its similar suprisingly, but we offer more sizes in each. I forgot about taking a pic. BTW Have you tried Louisiana Hot Sauce? I highly recommend it. It puts Tabasco to shame IMO.
  8. There is a shaky cam scene, but Its only a scene. They take a lot of things from various aspects of paranormal investigations and apply them. If you have Carmike theaters up there, Its worth seeing on Stimulus Tuesday or during Super Bargain Matinee.
  9. Horror movies don't scare me. I don't jump or yell... but I do enjoy them. I just got back from seeing this, and I liked it. The apparitions are pretty generic, and the 70's style T.A.P.S. set up was pretty cool. It has your classic false alarm moments but doesn't really offer anything new to the genre. If you like horror flicks, its worth seeing. Its not one of those crappy movies... I think absence of hot 20-30 year old girls posing as teenagers along with a token musclehead douche bag and loser nice guy have something to do with it. Basing it off a true story helps prevent those types of things... I think the Evil Dead remake was better.
  10. In a way, I think Superman fans were tired of him not being overpowered, because as a superhero, he is overpowered... And you have those people that hate Superman because they feel he is too powerful. Zod was a brute, If we can finally have Brainiac in a film, I think he will definitely bring Superman to his knees. Perhaps this is why Batman is in the next film? Superman will need Bruce Wayne's ingenuity to overcome such a villain. Faora was super hot, I do agree.
  11. Chobits! Not what I expected, but I stuck with it until the end. Super adorable... the end almost pissed me off... The "review" episodes were unnecessary... but I liked it overall.

The manga is so much better but I thoroughly enjoyed the anime. Been forever since I last watched it though (should probably dig out the DVD's again and give it a watch through)

I'm trying to watch Burst Angel now, but I'm not really feeling it right now... it it worth continuing after 3 eps?

  12. Yeah he completed all his major filming in Hollywood a long time ago, but he's been spending time post production with on site filming and what not. There was no such thing as kickstarter when he started this project. It probably would have helped him a lot. He had a donate button on cinamassacre and only made 2-3 videos letting fans know about it. He didn't want to look like he was prying for money in every video he made... I'm sure he has had to put a lot of his own money into the project.
  13. I was about to explode with rage because for some reason I read the title as The Last Starfighter, and I was like WTF! BLASPHEMY!! YOU CANT REMAKE THAT!!!
  14. This trailer was revealed a year ago at a special event. We only got to see clips and bits of it at the time, and I remember reading about the dig much later. I don't think they are connected... there is just so many people that remember how bad that game was, someone with the funds to actually dig up the site is going to do it. lol
  15. It looks good. I just hope they spend more time on the cosmos than mankind. The trailers was showed more earth than anything else. lol.
  16. I didn't like this scene because he basically lifted an island size chunk of kryptonite with no sign of weakness until after he got rid of it... historically, kryptnoite almost always immediately sapped Superman's powers and made him really weak. Of course I always thought that was stupid to... I felt that Kryptonite should have just reduced him to no different than an earthling as he would have been on Krypton, instead of someone that could barely move... but I guess that wouldn't be dramatic enough.
  17. My first initial reaction to this film was a lot like Pchan's. A part of that stemmed from marathoning anime the past few months. I went in looking for too much in a film that wasn't meant to be that. But as I thought about it the next few days i realized the film was pretty fun overall, and I really like it. especially after discussing its vague ties to Evangelion on facebook and gawker sites. I'll be getting it on Blu-Ray when it comes out. Not every film is meant to be the Citizen Kane of our time. This film was something Del Toro made for fun as a fan of old Godzilla and Gamera movies. I think the same can be said for Man of Steel. It was meant to be one of those films where Superman unleashed because we now have the tech to display that on the screen. As much as I enjoyed the Marvel films, the set ups like in Iron Man 2 and Thor were very long and drawn out, and after the first time watching them, the second time around wasn't as enjoyable. There is a difference in making a film where it reaches out to new audiences that don't know the origins of these characters, and then Man of Steel, which rushes through it, and provides more brawling than dialogue. I mean c'mon....
  18. His eye, and ricks right hand (hes shooting with his left in the trailer because his right is bandaged up, relates to a certain part of the graphic novel. I don't think Tyrese is the enemy. Graphic Novel Spoilers
  19. Daryl has become so popular that if he dies, It wont be until a span of the final 4-5 episodes of the series finale. I don't think they'll chance a ratings drop. If I had to call it, I'd say Sasha dies, Hershel, Beth, and Judith die in the season finale, and Glen dies next season.
  20. After watching this 200 times. I notice that Hershel has his leg back. I guess they found a pretty good prosthetic for him.
  21. Well, here it is! The unveiling of Season 4 which will premier Oct. 13th! It looks pretty freakin' amazing!. It looks like they are using elements skipped over in the first part of season 3 from the graphic novel since Tyreese shows up much later in the TV series, while combining it with what has been going on in the graphic novel after the prison. Interestingly enough, there is no sign of the Governor... I expect him to show up at the mid season finale after this mystery killer is found out, and conclude the season with a final resolution. Now that I see how close they are to passing the graphic novel. I understand why they've kept the Governor around. If they proceeded, they'd only have about 2 more seasons of source material. Anyways... I CANT WAIT!!!!!!!!!!! Click here to view the article
