  1. Getting rid of RNG spread in BF would be welcomed IMO. Its probably why most people gravitate to sniping in BF games because its not reliant on RNG, and more on aiming skills. BF1 didn't have true DMR weapons either since they didn't exist compounding the issue. With BF5 most likely being WWII, and the era being dominated by automatic weapons, I'd expect the likes of the MP40, Thomson, STG-44, FG-42, and other to be more reliable in aiming. They'll probably bump up the recoil and adjust the bullet velocity/range accordingly to stop SMG sniping... at least I hope. The only thing that should have RNG spread is unmounted LMGs.
  2. I think Drift0r did a pretty good history of it. 90% if not more of our government in both parties are still from an old ass generation that grew up without meaningful technology outside of a car and black and white TV. It will probably be another 20-30 years before video games stop getting blamed. By that time there might be some new technological medium our generation will blame nonsensically.
  3. It will probably be free sometime next year. Its won best soundtrack at just about every award event except one I think. I have almost 60 hours into it. I still load it up so I can eventually get to level 99 and fight the secret boss. The music is just down right therapeutic when roaming around the map. I couldn't pick a favorite track, the whole damn thing is a masterpiece.
  4. https://www.vg247.com/2018/03/09/nier-automata-50-off-weekend-steam-us-ps-store-ps4/ 50% off in the PS store.
  5. Its a stupid play on a continuing logo. Instead of going with IV, they went with the tally mark. But I bet they do V for 5 rather than the strike through.
  6. If you liked "America: The Story of US" or the previous Men Who Built America series. This one should be good. I watched the first episode that dealt with Daniel Boone and enjoyed it a lot. This is one of my favorite parts of American history so I look forward to the rest of the series.
  7. The price to make these 32 bags are outrageous. Inventory space isn't a vanity item. They really should have more ways to get these runes of holding in the next map. Spreading out the mat farm across multiple LWS4 maps would be a great way to keep them relevant. Having to drop 100g on a gamble to get these is stupid.
  8. Overall I'm pleased with this release. Its way better than the first episode. The new map is littered with nodes and VM orbs are more abundant than Istan. The events are more isolated and lead to big bosses rather than big metas full of trash mobs. Plus its not a freakin' desert finally. The map has sizable verticality to it, but it's not too bad. And there is a 32 slot box meta achievement which gives me something to work for.
  9. Got caught up on a few of the Simuldub's Funimation is running. Basilisk: the Ouka Ninja Scrolls caught my eye since I did enjoy the original. So far the action is pretty good. It takes place 10 years after the first one ended... or so it says until there is a time jump after the 4th episode. Its very different from the first as its more of your standard ninja anime rather than some tragic love story. I'm glad it did the time jump though because I was feeling like it was gonna be another "kids beat adult fodder" type thing. I also started Darling in the Franxx since it's getting so much hype. Its basically Gurren Lagann style animation with a ton of sexual innuendo. Its catering to my craving for a mecha series so far.

  10. I've watched so much anime since getting Funimation, I can't remember half of what I watched. I'll see something I remember watching and enjoying but i can barely remember any of the story. I guess I can tell what I felt was truly great when I can remember what happened. It doesn't really take much for me to enjoy a series without it being a favorite. Here is what actually stood out to me in the last year whether it came out in 2017 or not... none of these are more than 2 years old.

    Mob Psycho 100
I adore this anime, and its a close second to My Hero Academia. It's unique blend of purposely plain character designs, mixed with its batshit psychedelic fight sequences, along with the comical still expression scenes sets it apart from the norm we've been getting over the past few years. Its wacky and fun.

    Drifters
As a history nerd I really enjoyed this series. The animation and character designs are top notch, and the fight scenes are really good. The Hellsing people did this one and it has the same gore level. Its also one of the better Dubs out there.

    My Hero Academia
Easily my favorite series I've seen in a while. Unique characters, great fights that never drag, excellent background music that properly sets the tone, and superb animation. This is #1 on my recommendation list for anyone looking for a new series to watch. Christopher Sabat brings his Major Armstrong type persona to Allmight, and its great. XD

    Kuromukuro
This one is on netflix. Its a fun watch. Good action, comedy, mecha design, and fights. Its not on the level of Aldnoah.Zero or Gun X Sword, but its definitely more entertaining to watch than Knights of Sidonia.

    Lupin III part 4
Not much to say other than its classic Lupin. Although this season was a bit more connected with an overall story arc rather than several single standing episodes. The animation keeps it's classic designs with modern shading and a much more fluid motion. The new recurring characters were also well done.

  11. Ratchet & Clank is a ton of fun. It's absurdly easy, but its still a blast. It def one of those you can sit back, relax, and destroy a bunch of stuff with crazy guns.
  12. The best thing you can do is destroy all the communications first to limit the back up. Mark every enemy, even the trucks that drive off stay marked when they come back or you see them somewhere else. Suppressed sniping, and blowing up radio towers and running off until alert cools down is what I did. If I got spotted I basically murdered everyone. Upgrading your D Walker is top priority as its the best getaway vehicle. The scouting head was supremely useful. I don't think it works for hostage extraction though, You can't toss them on it and drive away if I remember correctly. The game on a whole is very similar. Later it will get a bit tougher with large armored vehicles and the damn chopper trying to kill you. But for most of the time its your own pace. Then there was one mission that I recall that wasn't your own pace and was very annoying. I remember having to follow a truck without being seen and also not letting it get too far away. I forgot why but I just remember failing it multiple times.
  13. I started playing around with this again. The end game consists of a new set of Moons in each kingdom. Some are floating around in different spots, and some are brand new puzzles added via a new hole to fall into. The biggest challenge is a really long gauntlet when you unlock enough moons. It's something I'll never bother to complete. It consists of many recycled boss battles and hazardous puzzles. If you die you have to start back at the beginning. There are no check points, and from what little I played of it, there are no refills of your heart meter. So you gotta make it through only getting hit 2 times, there is no shop to buy the extra ring of hearts in this area.
