  10. It's a lot easier. The Unbound Guardianis more similar to the raid than the Queen Sloth.
  11. Someone already 3 manned Destiny's new raid and I heard the story was really short. I don't get people that still put money into this game.

I think its been a year since I last played Destiny and even though I told myself I'd watch the raids on youtube because I know I'd never play them, but I never did. And I have no interest in watching them even now. I highly doubt I'll ever buy a Destiny 2. The newest raid with the bulldozer thing does look pretty cool, but only cool enough to watch a couple clips of it and move on to the next thing. I don't mind grinding in a game to an extent as long as I'm not bored. If I'm grinding a MMO like guild wars 2, I have the game muted and I'm watching TV while gathering items for gold. But grinding in a FPS game like Destiny is never going to happen for me again. It takes up all my attention because of the nature of the encounters and gameplay. I did it initially because I thought it was a one time grind, get my gear maxed out and I'd be set to enjoy the game with new content releases. Nope. Every dlc/expansion meant all my grinding was pointless. I'm never doing that again. Thats way too much of a time sink for me.

The RNG and raid exclusive weapons were also the worst I've ever seen in any game. I don't mind seeing exclusive looking weapon skins from doing raid content but when people get rewarded with exclusive weapons with noticeable advantages it leaves me feeling salty. I still remember getting torn up by a vex mythoclast in those early year 1 iron banners, same with the original gally. Aside from that first week gally was in the xur shop, we never saw it again for a year. Only the early access people got enough coin saved up fast enough to buy it that week. In hindsight I think it might have been done completely intentionally so all their early alpha testers and youtubers that were promoting the game would get it guaranteed because they knew the value of it and had enough time to get the coins needed.

The plan, from what I’ve heard, is for Destiny 2's planet areas to feel more populated with towns, outposts, and quests that are more interesting than the patrol missions you can get in Destiny.

Honestly, this is what I expected from the first game. And to succeed on PC, their going to have to make a completely different game. It damn well better be a Diablo 2 style improvement over Diablo. If the Anet talent picked up early last year still has his creative pull, maybe it will be a better solo experience. Renown Hearts coming to Destiny!XD

lmao. Their own version of Renown Hearts might actually happen. XD

Towns, outposts, quests, (ambient life), NPC quests.. all that should have been in Destiny 1. If Destiny 2 is really going to be a 'totally different game' then I'll definitely wait on playing it (if I do at all), until the first 2 or 3 expansions come out a year after the game is released and is no longer in beta quality. Even then there will be other games in my backlog at that point like Fallout 4 or some other RPG FPS games.

  12. The gloves are the bladed gloves from VB, and the legs are my favorite it the game they're the vigil's, medium leggings. You have to have a character that joined the vigil in the PS that will allow you to talk to the vendor at Vigil's Keep in Gendarran Fields.
  13. As wonky as the bayonet charge, I'll probably never equip it as it has too many negatives such as bad recoil and longer ADS. I'm glad these weapon selections were presets and we'll be able to customize our guns a bit more. Something more to grind war bonds for.
  14. The best part of this map is the scaling. Sure the Vermingus is easy and can probably be soloed, but unlike BSF, if this map ever dies, You'll still be able to grind it with few people. I pretty much did the Sloth Feeder escort solo and 4-5 people took down the Sloth and Dominator. The Jade Construct is the only boss on the map that requires a decent mob. And the beauty of the dailies is that they give you the "or" option on these bosses. I really like the map dailies too. The hearts are probably the best in the game because they follow along with your natural gameplay of the map. And their borders are more defined. Some of the worst hearts in core Tyria have weird borders that sometimes start on one side of the NPC and has an odd shape path to where a lot of the objectives have to be kited into the zone for credit. I'd like to see more map exclusive dailies. Now when I log on, I do my home nodes, normal dailies, BFS dailies, and then Ember Bay dailies. It takes me all of 30 minutes if I'm lucky enough to hit Hab when I first load into BSF. Ember Bay dailies are better than BSF because a few of them rotate. I hate rift closer because gliding to them is frustrating when they complete before you can get to them, and then you have to wait on a new batch if the Bloodstone Champ is up. I wish that one would rotate out for another event like Alari, BFS miner, or a "Big Spender" like WvW has. Ember Bay also runs like a core map on my FPS. I can run my max settings without getting bogged down like other HoT maps. The expac really needs more maps like this with limited verticality. And the verticality they have needs to keep with the fast travel leylines and movement masteries.

  16. I hope they pay homage to the epic chip eating.
  17. I have more faith in the Netflix Deathnote than this.
  18. The Wurm boss on Ember Bay has a wonky scaling issue. I two manned it with a random with ease as we defended two energy pylons each. But when I did it with more people later, elite wurms kept spawning and we almost failed with 1 energy pylon left which almost got destroyed. X_X So I could actually have soloed a world boss by just keeping 1 alive myself if no one showed up. XD

I was so noob at that event when I first did it, I thought we had to all attack it like taking out Mega Destroyer. XD I jumped down to within range and kept attacking wondering why nobody else was showing up to DPS. lmao. Everyone up on that ridge must have looked at me and facepalmed while they actually played the objective. XD

ROTFLMAO. I'm curious if the wurms can be reflected like the eggs on TT. It would have made a cool challange for guilds like TTS to get some boss achievements.

That would have been cool. Since we can personally damage the wurm, it'll be interesting to see an organized speed kill on the wurm to see just how fast it can be defeated.
