That's how I felt about FF XII, but XIII was different for me. I dunno.

rofl That guy kills me. Sadly enough, every gripe he has about it is perfectly justified. You simply have to be enough of a fan to wade through it. I just finished it tonight and as confused as I am about the plot, I really did enjoy this game, believe it or not. He's right, it got good after about 20 hours. My character development is through the roof and I was entirely too strong for that pussy end boss. But yeah... Great game, despite it's countless short-comings. It is time for bed now. *thud*

To be the most efficient, you would save up 24 or 32 of the most cost efficient organic materials and use them all at once to instantly create a 3x EXP multiplier, then use however many cost effective mechanical components it takes to reach max level in one fell swoop so that it all gets the 3x multiplier, otherwise you wind up wasting a shit ton of materials.

Sarah Palin's Alaska series to appear on TLC network

DX is dead on. Just don't watch the shit. Anything else would be supporting them. -
Well, the weapons are all unique to each character and all the initial versions of each weapon can either be found or bought. But XIII uses an upgrade system for these weapons (and accessories) and make you use components littered throughout the game to add multiplier XP to the item, then actually XP to the item to create a higher level of said weapon. Special components are used to transform the weapons into ultimate weapons and you can level them all over again. Personally, I don't like it, but it isn't dabilitating. There -are- Chocobos in the game! They look so damn real. @_@ And the baby chocobo that nests in Sazh's 'fro is the cutest thing since chocobo plushies.

I agree with the uniqueness, I think that's kind of important. I'm at the point where the game has opened up a lot and there are many different side quest missions and additional things to do. The storyline and travel is always going to be somewhat linear, but now there is at least something for me to aim for. There is so much to do and a lot of it is so hard, it's overwhelming. A lot of it, I found out, isn't even possible until after I've completed the main story. Good stuff.

Very wrong. "Slipping up" doesn't happen until until they are 17+, sorry. =\ I was beaten within an inch of my life if I ever cussing at or to my parents.

Looking for suggestions for new anime to watch

I am so confused... -
I'm almost done with it. Work and school has been hindering me. =\

lol Thank you HK. And I've been playing WoW since March of 2005. lol I only just recently stopped raiding due to necessary priorities. I love that game, but goddamn is it addictive.

Apparently there is side quest stuff, but not until later. This game is painfully linear through the majority of it, but I think it may open up a bit more towards the end. I'm starting to get used to this game. It sucks that so much has changed about Final Fantasy, but it's actually pretty enjoyable once you accept the changes.

I only played the first part of ME1, my pirated version has a bug in it that wouldn't let me access the galaxy map. So I did extensive reading on the plot of the first game and my wife bought me the 2nd one. Now there is that new add-on coming out as well. Should be fun.

Congratulations! Isn't that a great feeling? lol I just got my first official "new" monitor a couple weeks ago. I ordered the LG W2486L. This thing was SO hard to find. Only one online actually had them in. It's beautifullllll! http://www.lge.com/us/computer-products/monitors/LG-lcd-monitor-W2486L.jsp

Looking for suggestions for new anime to watch
Eli replied to Torreyjs's topic in Anime / Animation / Manga / Comics
My personal favorites are Berserk and Kenshin. Amazing series. I also really like Blassreiter, so far. Check that out too. Oh, also watch Appleseed and Appleseed Ex Machina! Those movies kicked ass, imo. -
FFX was great! They just about got it right in that game, but everything has gone south with their experimenting with new systems. XIII really feels like a typical linear action game, except you fight and advance your character via RPG elements.
-
I'll have to check that out. I haven't been to Megatokyo in years. I still have the two shirts I ordered from there like 7 years ago. lol
-
Yeah, I've been dying for this game for over 4 years. The satiation tastes like a stale piece of bread. =\

Woo! Grats Dubu! I love new computers. And Windows 7 fuckin' rocks. Enjoy! =D

Kite is pretty much on the money, so far. As frustrating as XII was, I still liked its RPG elements more. More to come.

I did quick scans to look for side quests, but only had to scan maybe 2 whole systems or so to have enough resources to last through the game.
