My batch of 76 episodes finished downloading, and I'm gonna start this series, after I watch Macross F 16! Eppy, give us your take on this one ... I know you've been watching/ reading it. Does it have some fillers like D.Gray Man? How's the manga storyline ... 800+ chapters ne X'D.

Finally finished it, it's good. There's not a lot of action, but the story makes up for it.

I can't see Sasuke beating a 4 tailed Naruto. Eye tricks or not. What do you guys think? Sasuke can beat Naruto at his current level without using the Kyubi for help.

Yeah, read about this ... darn interesting.

Yeah, that's what I liked about the reboot that began with Batman Begins, nothing was left for granted in terms of character development or realism.

X'D OMG Robin's such a tease with that ability!

The camera angles are really great, love the directing. I kinda instantly thought of Cabbit, cos she plans to take Photography seriously. All the scenes are off a professional photographers video camera, and natural. Not in the Blair Witch Project or headache giving shakey Cloverfield way X'D.

Dark Knight breaks $300m record. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/entertainment/7528222.stm It's also the quickest to reach 200 million, the most money made on a midnight show, the most money made over the first day, and the most money made over the first weekend. I'm not sure if it can beat Titanic's 600 million haul, but I hope it can.

Anyone else seen this? I'm currently half way through, and it's 13 episodes long. Shorthand plot It's slow, sensible, got a little realistic mecha (not in the Gundam flying around easy laser shooting spree kinda one), and seems decent so far. My only gripe is the reasons for what they go through such lengths for.

Lola and her crew, who the Strawhats saved on Thriller Bark were from the New World itself, and looking at their abilities, they're just regular pirates, no big deal. But, the New World obviously has many powerful guys who eat small fry ... so I'm thinking no crew with the captain's bounty of above 100-150,000,000 prolly cos then they'd be considered weak. Luffy is part of the 11 Supernova pirates ... so I reckon most of the 11 will make it through, unless some were to get captured or defeated before that, cos of the new Shichibukai development. Luffy, to me, has the highest bounty of the lot.

Who are the 4 emperors? We know it's WB, Shanks .... then Kaidou who beat Moria when Moria went to the New World, and who's the 4th? If you look at the picture ... the 4th looks like a woman .... and I've been thinking about this all morning while eating *pats his tummy* .... maybe it's Lola's mother!!!! She did say that her mother's an incredible pirate, whatcha think Sledge! *broad grin* I've been reading OP since last night X'D ... some chapters over to figure or think of clues for the future.

Shanks has gotta be there one way or the other, since it's a WG vs the Pirates kinda scenario now. And, he might just land up avenging WB if he falls, he wouldn't help cos of the whole pirate's pride on fighting his own fights kinda thingie, but who knows. Ace has gotta be saved or Luffy WILL GO BERSERK, and it won't be a fun ride anymore for him. What's up with Kizaru?! Speed of light?! Freggin hell! Lufy could go Gear 2nd and be quick, but there's no way he could beat Kizaru at his current level, maybe land a hit or two. Kizaru's ability is either speed or light like an opposite of Blackbeard who has the ability of the dark. Hawkins had something that looked like dolls or scarecrow kinda thingies come out of his arm, either way, it'll be interesting to know how those dolls could withstand a kick of THAT power and speed. BUT, if you read page 9 - 11, I think it gives awaya his ability ... you see 2 dolls, and you also see 2 random people die of heavyass bruises, which means he has a way to get other people's lives in the dolls to protect him!

Both Kuma's look like fakes to me ... replica's created by a devil fruit user maybe, the kid at the end maybe? The real Kuma would NOT have anyone land a single hit on him, think about it. If this were Naruto, Kuma would have mastered a space time jutsu (which is also essentially his real power in One Piece where he makes things disappear!!!) and would appear at multiple places or have a kage bunshin do the trick for him X'D. This chapter need 5-6 re~reads, so epic and awesome.

That's your opinion. We weren't discussing movies to go to the theater, just movies that were good enough for Hollywood's standards. I haven't seen some of those movies in the theater either cos they were never released back home, but if they did, I would.

Apollo 13, Fargo, The English Patient, A Beautiful Mind, Toy Story & Toy Story 2, Saving Private Ryan, Shine, Affliction, American Beauty, The Matrix, Boys Don't Cry, Erin Brockovich, Traffic, LOTR, The Machinist, American Psycho, The Hours, Road To Perdition, The Green Mile, Million Dollar Baby, Finding Nemo, The Aviator, Finding Neverland, King Kong (remake), Lars And The Real Girl, Dan In Real Life, Michael Clayton, We Own The Night, In The Valley Of Elah, Gone Baby Gone, Donnie Darko, The Notebook, Darfur, 310 To Yuma, Into The Wild ....... I can go on. And these are all movies post mid 90s. IF you liked an anime, would you want a second season? Like say, Black Lagoon or Gundam 00? Similarly we have sequels for movies, granted most of them turn out to be cheesy, but you can't not want the movie makers to make it. If it does well, they'd make it, it's common sense. It's like telling Nolan not to make another Batman movie because he's milking it? What I can't stand is directors making crappy versions of what's there - be it a remake or a sequel. The crop of movies you get to see today is bolder, provocative, and pretty much the same as before ...

I don't think Hollywood has lost it's originality. Since long ago they've made some of the best movies off best selling novels, and now comic books. So what's different? How has Hollywood changed? Re~makes, sure, that's new, and some directors have their own take on it. Consider it as any band of today putting up a Pink Floyd cover song on their album, what's wrong with that.
