I don't know, I though it was a bit of a reach in terms of why people did what they did, like villains' motivations and overall, it was a decent film. I would've expected 'decent' to be a 'good' or 'amazing' film seeing that they had the budget for it. Overall, disappointing I guess?

Watched it last night in IMAX 3D. Seeing that high RT rating scared me and I thought maybe everyone's riding on the hype for it. I remember reading about it when they were filming it and been craving to watch it since, but this kind of popularity always puts me off. So I went in last night with no expectations. This is the best use of 3D in a movie. It was really good. Not getting into details, just watch it. Don't watch it as a background movie though <- you know who this statement is for!

Saw their panel at Comic Con, they're good chaps with a good sense of humor. The first episode was ... slow and I get a sense of them milking it.

I wanna see the program cure cancer and other other diseases so it raises the life expectancy which invariably results in a shortage of food for the planet which means the program must find a way to sustain the populous by other means and effectively helps in space exploration where we find half the population on a habitable planet or on a space station that uses solar panels to harvest and grow vegetation in addition to a water recycling unit.

But I want a good nice smelling wipe to clean my butt with. Will you help and hold my hand? (if you get the reference) I feel like the 6 gigs of RAM should be OK to run Win 7 at a decent speed. I don't know what is standard these days when people buy laptops (8 maybe?). I think I can get more out of this if it got a fresh start, like a complete wipe out. It'll be a hassle to re-install all those Windows Updates but 1 day of suffering will lead to months of bliss. -

Back when I purchased my laptop, it came with Vista and Windows 7 was rolling out the next month. I had a sticker that said Free Upgrade to Windows 7 if I did it within a year. I was too scared to do anything. I don't mind Vista but it drags either because of the OS itself or my super cool viruses that love me and don't want to let go. So, I've been contemplating on wiping everything out and getting Windows 7 but it's too expensive to give someone at a shop to do it. Eppy/ Sledge, would you know how to do it if I bought the CD or got a rip of an official version with no serial key, etc.? My baby will be in your hands. -

Before smart phones were so common, I'd have picked the Nokia OS over Motorola or Sony, just for ease or convenience of use. iOS is now pretending to be an Android. Android is good but isn't as seamless as Windows. Windows isn't perfect, needs the reception and push Android developers have. So nothing's perfect. Blackberry's OS is simplified and I like it to be honest. I haven't checked out their new touchscreen phones, so I can't talk about that but when I had the 9800, it was fun. Capabilities compared to it's competition, not so much.

How good is Starbuck in it? I heard everyone looks at her . My brother watched it and told me it was a piece of shit, to skip it. Now I'm curious. The problem is that I saw the trailer. How much does the trailer give the film away?

Don't watch any of those newer trailers. Just go watch the movie. From early reviews, it seems very positive and technically sound. Cameron a few days ago said it was the best space movie he's ever seen and that this was the kind of space movie he's been wanting to see.
