I love the arc so far!!!!!!!!!!! I'm at 280-281 where Luffy's pulled everyone to jump down and they're gonne be picked up by Rocketman and it's gonna get crazy from there. The flashbacks are cool ... drawing difference and change and makes me wanna watch it all over again! There's not a single disappointing moment in this arc, thank god. Less or no filler-ation. Kickass fights so far ... Blueno vs Luffy!!! Second Gear and I was like ' .... Kyuuubi!!!!!!' X'D ... I hope he has enough reserve to fight the baddies cos he did mention about Second Gear having effected his body a bit/exhaustion maybe. I can't wait to see what happens next!!! I believe the series releases are only upto 304 or 308ish range ... does the arc get over within that or am I gonna be current/uptodate and have to wait weeks for episodes to come out, in super anxiety X'D?! EDIT: Is it just me, or do you also get the impression that while their powers are somehow magnified in the areas of the Devil fruit, Kaku - Kalifa - Jyabura, their fights have sorta become less interesting ... I mean compare Zoro vs Kaku right before he transformed with the fight they're having right now (I speak in the present because I'm in the middle of the battle) after he transformed. Even Kalifa was easily defeated, very easily. She's a CP9 member for god sakes with all those super techniques! She could've easily avoided the lightening bolts ... X'D

Hmmmm ... the very fact that they all ate the Devil's Fruit in order to gain those powers is reason to believe that 'abilities' may not be passed down from generation to generation. Hmmmm ... HOWEVER, it's the will of everyone with the middle name 'D' that seems to have a lot going on ... connecting them all together, as Lady told me. I'm also a little curious to know about Shanks (digresses a bit), the time he saved Luffy and lost his arm in the process, they were in deep waters for sure - to have a Sea King that massive to be able to survive .. so why didn't Shanks drown? Does he not have a Devil's Fruit ability?!!!! o_0

Right now I'm at Enies Lobby (arc) and Skypiea I feel was a lil disappointing compared to Alabasta or Enies so far, less memorable to put it bluntly!

I see ... I was not taking into consideration the battle conditions actually, only abilities. But ofcourse, it plays a major role, like you pointed! Hopefully, I'll know soon about CP9's abilities ...

You make good points there, but at this point in time, I haven't seen most of the abilities of the CP9 characters in full bloom, so I wouldn't be able to tell whether - if we assume they use the Impact Dial on a CP9 kick or attack, will they be fast enough to beat the already fast and powerful CP9 members? Plus look at Luccie ... when Luffy used his Gattling Punch attack on him in Iceburg's castle, he did something and he just took the punches but they didn't effect him one bit. Using the same analogy, they could use the same thing versus their own Impact Dial attack ... you also have to consider - is the mantra fore-telling & attack speed greater than CP9 natural speed? They may be able to fore-tell and pull in the punch for a counter, but these CP9 guys are fast enough to catch it and use counter-measures ... who knows!!! I'm only making assumptions!!! *screams at his download which's at 40ish %*

Off Topic: ^ they're an iconic Goregrind band from the early 90s and this was their debut that came out either in 92 or 93. Arguably their best album to date, and some good news too for these guys - they've been meaning to tour the US since then and weren't allowed/able to, so anyway, next month will be their first tour to the US and while they're playing in NYC, I'm going to miss it *breaks table*
