Not only shadow people, I just want to see anything paranormal caught on film as evidence because it's really hard to find/ prove in most cases. With all the technology of our current age, I find it impossible to believe we can't find it out there, I want to believe (quoting The X-Files).

RIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGGGEEDDDDDDDDDDD!! Kidding, this's good news mate!

I know you can use a laptop for usable means that a tablet has for it, except the gaming part of it, but it's also the convenience of having it by your bedside or something like and double up as an e-reader. They love books and physical copies, so if they want to try to read on it, they can. Surface eeehhh ... I saw the launch video for it when it was released, sexy stuff. Windows 8?

Using the iPad has its merits and demerits, navigation isn't easy. And I wonder how people carry it around because it's weighty I won't lie. I took it to the office and was told I had the very outdated version that came out only a few months ago. Yeaaaaah, Apple ftw. I'm now thinking of getting a tablet for my folks so we can Skype. I've never Skyped with them, all these years. Tablet for convenience. Btw, Admins please move this to the Tech section, I'm sorry I just noticed my error. Eppy, which one do you have? Which one do you recommend?

Yeah man, I'd love to see something that is concrete evidence to proof towards it. That's one of the reasons why I enjoyed watching Fact or Faked on TV. Great show that.

Only 10 mill on opening weekend, disheartening. Going to watch it next week for sure.

I'm considering disconnecting because I haven't hopped on in a few days. Going to downgrade my Internet plan and get basic cable + Internet for under 100 or that much money, cos I'm anyway paying that for just Internet service.

You mean Ben Kingsley as the Mandarin? All those emotional Solomon scenes fell flat for me.

I'm a bit hesitant to use a wi-fi system come to think of it, my internet keeps dropping on me because all the electrical ports in the apartment aren't 'earthed'. I've been meaning to fix it, but don't have the time or am not home till late. Thanks for the link and info! I won't go with that particular system/ set up because I currently have a Blu Ray/ DVD Player in a PS3/ laptop. What'll make sense is to get an amplifier that I can connect my vinyl player, TV, laptop to which hosts speakers.

So lets discuss what we have as far as current setups go and even bounce off ideas of what is cool out there. I currently have NO setup for my TV/ LP player/ Laptop. I'm looking to get something soon. Like a receiver/ amplifier that maybe hooks up speakers/ tweeters to my record player and TV or CD player all at the same time, if possible. Any good/ bad experiences with a wireless setup? Pictures? Lets do it! Go.

True or False A TNA wrestling fan does not watch WWE wrestling and finds the latter childish. Also, is it safe to say that the WWE comes up with decent story lines compared to TNA?

Gomen for being late and Happy Birthday munchkin.

It's pretty strange. I'm currently downloading the new Dexter episode, but Dexter's pretty much on Netflix, definite recco. Same with Mad Men.

I try to catch up on WWE every now and then. The intro song Punk had before getting this one was COOLER.

So, I read up on Kite's Nexus 7 and it looks cool. Let's talk about any tablets we may have, cool features/ advantages/ disadvantages of that specific tablet/ cool apps to get/ etc. I was given an iPad a few weeks ago and I use it to hit up Facebook, listen to Pandora predominantly, like right now I'm typing on my laptop and have my tablet close with Pandora on. It opens up the possibility for me to get bluetooth/ wireless speakers to hook this up to them and play music through that sort of setup throughout the apartment (maybe?). So yeah, post your thoughts. Eppy's had one for a long time! I'm guessing he's already gone through 2?!! He's such a pro, hacks the shit outta it and puts his own like OS or whatever on it

That one Engineer did sacrifice his life to kick-start life in the planet at the beginning. It's said and hinted in the movie that there was another Engineer that visited Earth 2000 years ago (aka Jesus) and things didn't look good - in the sense what he saw. So that's when they set out to kill the planet to hit the re-set button on humanity but shit went wrong before they could leave (refer to the Hologram). That's why when they wake the Engineer, he's in shock "Oh crap, these humans were supposed to be killed/ dead, I woke up in the ship? Wait, how much time has passed. Why are they standing in front of me?". It is speculative by a lot of scientists that humans of old would worship anything they wouldn't understand by calling them Gods if they were an advanced race. Yep, this is hinted as an outpost. The Derelict towards the end left the planet to go towards their home world, which's where the sequel may take place/ if not in space. There's no clue about the Engineer's world being destroyed but it would make sense to have such a powerful bioweapon away from their own planet or evil doers on the planet. Have it someplace secret and far away so you don't expose yourself to the dangers of the black goo - very smart. It's more like what have our children evolved to become? Wars? That's not a good picture. More than a carbon replication of themselves, it's I think more to do with what they did with the chance they got to evolve as a race. There you go . Don't think they wanted a carbon copy of themselves though. It's a lot of things, but yeah you hit the nail on an aspect. It's more like you believe in a God. Then you see that you came from an another species rather than a God creating you. So you still cling to the hope that God will make things better when shit goes wrong. It's like Hey I gotta go to church cos I need to pass my exams, it's convenient to pray to ask for good things to happen or to come out of a situation because it gives you hope? Scientific expedition. Resources on the ship are scarce. We don't have THAT technology yet. Weyland used A LOT OF MONEY to make this ship highly advanced.

Oh yeah hahaha now that you mention it, I remember we even talked about how long it was in the manga during our coffee-One Piece talks. Shit, I gotta poop. EDIT: Back, in just 2 mins. That was quick . Anyway, I first starting watching One Piece early 2007. Chelle and you shipped me DVDs like the week before I left for the US and I was so glad I got em in time before I set out to NYC! So it's been about 5 and a half/ almost 6 years since I've been a fan of the anime. I've re-watched it 4 times so far, but it's been a while since I watched it from the beginning again. I want to see how it's aged.

But is the tape authentic? I mean, why isn't this front page news?

Nexus 7 does look good. I just checked it out online. What drew you to buy that one among other competitors?

Happy Birthday dude! What presents did ya get?!

Been a while since I deleted my Myspace account. It was an annoying process overall. Do you guys still have one/ use it?

It's been a while so I can't surely say which arc felt longer to me - Alabasta or Skypiea or Thriller Bark. I mean, my gripe with Thriller Bark was that scenes would unfold so so slowly, like they were milking it. With Alabasta and Skypiea, the story itself might have been long which justified it's length. I'll post my comments once I'm done with a re-watch, but it's good food for thought. Animationwise, I prefer the old style over the new only because of the way fights were animated.

That McCartney documentary was fun. Looks true enough.
