It works for this movie because it gave you little information about the characters and the future. You don't really need a back story of how he became Dredd or how she had the ability she had. It's a problem most reboots face. In this case, leaving it out worked for the movie - at least for me.

From my little anime experience, there's not a single series that has better or as-good dubs compared to original Japanese voice actors. Just my opinion. -

I couldn't believe he put his house up for a piece of shit story and movie such as Riddick. I too checked it out only cos he put so much on the line, I expected it to be good. Instead, the only good thing to come out of it is casting Starbuck (though she sucked in her role too) and that shower or whatever naked scene. Action, story, dialog = so bad.

Marley And Me is the only movie that got me crying so hard and bad (first time I heard myself cry) and for so long, I couldn't stop crying. FRAKK THAT SHIT!! Never gonna watch it again. I own it too, sealed, as a reminder.

If you're a fan of Arnold, this isn't his worst movie. It's fun and not to be taken seriously.

Owning a house is a big step but yeah, you have to run the show. My boss owns this building I work in, in Manhattan and over the years I've sort of been the care-taker of the building. It's such a learning experience whether it's a tenant upstairs and their issues or a restaurant downstairs or basic real estate taxes and a lot more. All I can say is, if you inherited old equipment such as heaters, laundry machines, kitchen appliances, coolers or anything that is essential for living, either have them regularly serviced or purchase new ones. With new purchases, warranty will save you.

I know nothing about this show except that I see a brown coat cosplayed and a robot looking thing called a dalek, whatever that is. Where do I start, specifically what season/ year/ whatever? I love all things Sci-Fi and have to know if this is worth the craze/ buzz around it.

She's going to pack some pounds sure like the Wonderwoman in the animated movies. People are complaining she doesn't have big breasts and all that, just dumb.

I know him from a Harry Potter movie. Don't know Dr. Who. The bigger the Who craze the more it pushes me away. Finished watching the first season last week. Good end, second season's ordered.

Also called Bron/ Broen. Highly recommended if you're into Cop-Thrillers, slams commercially popular US TV shows. Marathon'd seasons 1 and 2 last week, all caught up now unfortunately. According to IMDB - When a body is found on the bridge between Denmark and Sweden, right on the border, Danish inspector Martin Rohde and Swedish Saga Norén have to share jurisdiction and work together to find the killer.

T2 was a good commercial flick but it had to follow a hardcore, gritty, horrific T1 which is better imho. Alien was plain horror, excellent ambiance. Aliens took that away and made it full-blown action. See the similarities in both of Cameron's movies? Yep. Both sequels are bigger blockbusters and may be more entertaining to a movie goer but if you ask me which was a better film, I'd say the first ones hands down.
