Fracking LAME day as usual ... had nothing planned, but a pal called 2 days before the 14th to fix up a movie plan of sorts, got canned, landed up watching Casshern Sins, read Black God to wherever it's at currently, and didn't have alcohol to drown in. Epic fail.

As much as I love what's going on ... don't get me wrong, I LOVE what's going on ... but, those demon guards (Blugori if I remember correct) were weak, and I'm disappointed Luffy's not had to use his Haki so far, it's been a walk in the park for him with help or without, irrespective. But, what I notice in bigger arcs is that Luffy (and/or crew) is defeated, and he will bounce back ... this time he's learnt Haki, don't know if he knows how to use it or control it though, they haven't displayed that aspect so far. He could've Haki'ed his way inside Impel Down for what's worth. The other thing bothering me is the pace they're beating each level at ... I know it's gotta be quick so they're undetected, etc. etc. but, it can't be that easy!! The first issue is getting inside Impel Down which seems hard, but is that the only issue? So, a guy like Smoker can get through any level without being detected? I mean, that's a serious flaw for Impel Down not to consider.

Hmmm ... I'm gonna have mixed reactions on this right now ... it doesn't need to be done imo. But, we'd all wish for the series to continue or watch our favorite characters do something once BSG stops airing, right ...

Interesting cast ...

Right now for me, top shows (in no order) are - BSG, Lost, Hell's Kitchen, Kitchen Nightmares, Iron Chef America. It's too early for me to make a call on Fringe, some episodes have left me unimpressed. Their concept's good, the scale of controversy is huge, but I'm not seeing a more scandalous plot that's given significance so far ... it seems like they're saving up an Ace for the last. I'll keep watching just for that ... let's see.

Yeah the Takamura animated fight will be awesome!! You get to see part of it in the opening ... man, SO SWEET. EDIT: I only hoped for the Victory tune to come aboard this 2nd Season. DOUBLE EDIT: Do you 'feel' the fights this season being a bit longer? This could be because if you notice, the fights have a bit of background talk where everyone takes their own turn to say something, and the box moves are on a repeat loop (same punches n dodges) till that discussion is over p ... I know I'm thinking TOO much into it, and senpai's gonna give me a 'Poop Curse' ... *shudders* ... but yeah ... and also, every freggin punch (is so awesome) feels like a POWERHIT with all the effects on the wind/ direction window arrow animation ... wow. Ippo's Dempsey during the spar gave me goosebumps, even though it was disastrous for him.

I need to get this ... came out 3-4 weeks ago I guess on dvd.

Saji is needed though to pilot the 00 Raiser, whether he's good at it or not. Why do they need someone to sit in there to punch a button to activate it or give Setsuna info on what % it's reached? I saw up till episode 17 or 18 I think, the episode where Marie leaves her real name for her code name, etc. Mr. Bushido = Fail.

Haven't watched the dub ... I kinda prefer the first season or my recollection of the second season's not too good ... which is something I need to re-watch prolly.

I think the pacing of the show, and performances were pretty good ... an upgrade from last year.

Back pocket to the right side ... leaves me with a sore ass most nights >_>' but I guess I'm used to it being there. When I hit a local show or a crowd, I put it in the front right pocket, to be on the safe side. I prefer not to have any cash on me nowadays after the October episode.

I think the media draws into anything a celebrity does. In a way, this is expected. Miley made a goofy face where she kinda squinted her eyes, and the media lashed her by saying she was insulting a certain ethnicity. I think Phelps should've been careful, irrespective.

I liked this short anime spanning 12 episodes ... below is the plot summary as per ANN In terms of animation, theme, opening + ending tracks, v/a's it's top notch. The first two episodes take you by surprise in that WTF manner, and it then goes back in time so you know the premise of what's going on (like say Berserk or Gungrave). Being just 12 episodes long, I began watching it late in the afternoon yesterday, and finished it last night itself. Nice fun, depressing/ touching towards the end, especially episode 9 I think. I have to read the manga though ... Eppy said it was different.

The first one was a turd ... this one looks like it's got bigger enemies, but will have to watch it none the less.

Thanks to Ochimusha's YT channel . There's a lot of theories, and speculation over what's going on with this project, or what will happen in the future, will it come out or not, etc. etc. and unless you've caught up to the manga, it'll be spoiler worthy ... Also, this is the guy's most recent update/ video on the movie ...

But, he's just gonna direct it ... the storyline will stick, and the adaptation too I GUESS. I'll go watch it, plus the other factor here is with Abrams on board, this won't be a shoddy low budget production either!
