Pretty interesting stuff Dx. I thought the death of Woolly mammoths was only a result of adaptation to different climates - mammoth's traveling from one cold region to the other warmer, hance it meant they'd have to adapt, their tusks grew shorter for they didn't use them much, and their coat was discarded because of the heat near the equator. Heh that's what I thought X'D. Sweet news.

Tha Jap va is perfect for Oro-sama, it's a lady's voice I think, just like Naruto which I really couldn't believe at first hehe.

From the early 80s this band's just done one thing - impressed people and got better through the years ! Any other DD lovers out there ? What's your favorite album ? Their performance at the G8 concert was really cool, it'as fun watching em live. The new INXS song (with that stupid lame vocalist they picked up at the INXS hunt) sounds just like DD, even parts on the vocals are copied, bluuuudy .

Ohhhh man, the box set's really within my reach, but the shipping's a worry >_> ... but the soundtrack's over 30 bucks haha. dang ! that's expensive, Sledge and I'm considering getting that wallet X'D

The Bangles were pretty cool back in the day, and even Bananarama are my probable favorites. Are we talking of 'all-girl' bands or can we also include bands with explosive women ? That'd include Jefferson Airplane, Blondie, Alanis Morissette (spelling?), The Corrs, and more.

7 $ on the first item with the minimum weight sorta makes me wonder, for the box set it'll multiple almost threefold and / or more even, which's gonna make it really expensive, unaffordable. Earning in rupees is the doom for me. Anime is this expensive always ? I mean, there's FB that's for 90 $ and surprisingly Advent is going for half the price of the entire series of Escaflowne.

Dilandau's dog pal's name is Jajuka Just finished watching the entire series and it was 'wow'. It didn't impress me that much at the start, but the build-up was superb, music - amazing and with a few surprises thrown in it was a winner for me. Good closure to the series ... ... and what was interesting was that I feel like asking for more, like I did for Full Metal Alchemist. Any idea where I can pick up the soundtrack and the series ?

Sledge, that Shigure signature kicks ass ! Looking at it made me want to get Fruits Basket in the first place and I remember asking you what anime the signature's character was from heh. Lady's Sesshomaru signatures / orochimaru sign. / Itachi-sama ofcourse included are really cool, Strider's Gundam ones I like a lot as well ...

The only problem I had with Eudora at office was it worked too slow, looked shifty and less smooth (personal opinion/preference). With Incredimail, it gives you the whole XP feel, and with Firebird you really can't go wrong.

Heh Eppy, XP's eating into all the speed and resources of the computer, platform-wise, but still everything's running, uber slow ofcourse. Hmmm come to think of it, I had a faulty powersupply and fan replacement 2 months back, so I, atleast hope, that that isn't the problem *shrugs*. I'm going to try out Sledge's advice right now and restart in a bit *cross his fingers, toes and everything crossable*

Awwww man, I really hope it's got nothing to do with the motherboard *sniff*. Right after posting on here I went in the hall, had dinner, watched some tv and when I got back, the computer had restarted and was waiting for me to log on to Windows.
-
Ohhh man, it's been really frustrating. Every now and then my computer restarts on it's own. This morning I lay in my bed and smiled because I was glad my computer was on all night with it's downloads on and stuff and right then I heard the restart beep. Bluuuuuudy. Anyway, it happens a lot, whether the machine's idling or I'm watching something / running a program like Winamp. Is there some XP security issue that I need to tweak a lil or power saver thing ? I have no clue. I need it to stop. Yelp. The machine runs on 128 RAM and XP.

The old Tool albums were quite famous back in the day and their videos were pretty sick (good) as well. Somehow they didn't impress me enough to make me go and buy their cd *shrugs*

Now that I own a dvd-burner, I tried to burn from a Dvd to another Dvd-r and I'm totally confuzzled at how I'm supposed to. The program that came with my Sony burner is NTI and there're two icons on my desktop - NTI Dvd Maker Gold & NTI Backup Now 3. For burning the mp3's on the computer onto a cd-r I use the former program and even for my anime I could use that. When I go into windows and try n explore the contents of the Dvd (like go into My Computer and click on the Dvd drive and try to explore/open) it autoplays. Is that normal ? Can all dvd's be burned - original or off the street pirated copies ? Much help's needed so I can figure out how to use it and burn a couple of things for a pal who's leaving to Canada tomorrow evening.

Firebird's really good and so is this program I've been using for a year now at work (since Outlook crashed) called Incredimail. I love the email received notifyers in there and one of em's a cute dog

X'D that was great ...

Offlate I've been carrying my work home, which means I have to use a lot of word to draft letters and what not to the United States Citizenship And Immigration for our clients' H1 visas, so anyway, the names of all these Chinese / Indian people or their Universities are so hard for Word to figure, I feel like it'll crash someday with the sorta databases I'm making for it ... Wieun, Xiueng, Xhanze, Ramaswamy, Avvarasala ... all surnames and the names are worse ... apart from that, Word doesn't recognize couriered / couriering / couriers, but only courier >_>

Full Metal Alchemist fights rocked too !! Rock Lee vs Kimimaro, Neji vs Naruto (Chuuinin) ! Sword fights - watch Conan The Barbarian and get a lil viking-ness in yer writing hehe ... you may also wanna watch Patton and Where Eagles Dares for inspiration on military / battle tactics, especially the former.
-
Full Metal Alchemist, Fruits Basket, Naruto are al great in Jap voices, not heard their English equivalents ... yet. Sabe, Wolf's Rain's English voice actors do sound justice, good choice ! How about Ghost In A Shell - Stand ALone, Second Gig ... they've used the same English voice actors for both series' and they're damn good. How's the series in Jap ? Dragonball's Jap voices sound like they're talking in a room with a high percentage of helium in the air ...

I don't write that much ... infact, nothing at all but once in a while I send the wierdest sms's or offliners that make uber little sense - the inspiration from that comes from my 23 year old virgin typical horny side of the brain, damnit. Pink Floyd could be really good for inspiration, I can imagine ... what albums in particular, Lady ?
-
By good dubs you mean voice actors doing justice to the character and the language as well ? How'd we ever know if the translations in the subtitles are acurate *hides before being pelted with tomatoes ...*

Blooooooooody hell, it'll never come on air over here ... I hope they come out with season dvd's or something. Good news and let us know how the series shapes up.
