I think I had a different concept of what I wanted to do last night and in my head I mixed it all up and it turned out to be something else. I wasted my vacation day '(

I'm gonna get 8/ 12 GB Ram just so it jizzes every time I hit 'Enter' X'D. It all depends on IF they can up it that much and IF they have the Ram spec that goes with my Vaio model. Time Warner's modem is about 3 weeks old now. The guys came over and changed it, I've had the 50 mbps connection since October. There's no additional router set up though, just their modem/ router thingie. She's a secret ... I can't hide for long ... soon though, soon she'll be introduced.

So here we are and this is what I've decided to do. I'm not going to wait for Windows 8 because by the time it's released and people review it hard it'll either be half or the last quarter of the year 2012. So here's what I'm looking at - 1. upgrade my 6 GB Ram to whatever I can upgrade it to, depending on what J&R has on them for my Ram spec. 2. buy and upgrade to Windows 7 from Windows Vista ($99 for the upgrade, doesn't include purchasing the actual OS) They said it would take a few days for them to do this, I don't care. Let them break their head over it cos I have no time. I'll stay in late at work to cover for not being able to work from home. In the meantime I've also called an electrician to earth all my electrical outlets cos my router keeps dying on me every 10/ 15 minutes, it's RIDICULOUS. So I'm wiping my system clean and I'll be earthing my outlets. If the modem times out or my laptop doesn't pick signal, I'm .. going .. to .. have .. a .. seizure .. and .. throw .. it all at my wall. Tonight I'll start moving everything to my external HD's. I hope I have room, otherwise I'll have to use 'her'.

Got home totally exhausted ... slept at around 4 in the afternoon and woke up at 930/ 10 in the morning the next day X'D

I think it's the lack of eating real meat that's giving me a problem ... female meat could cure me.

What plans did you have that got messed up Goku? Was at the beach to check out the first sunrise of the year ... got there 2 hours before the actual time and took cover under the boardwalk cos the wind was freezing but yeah, overall good fun. Think of it this way - you pay people for entertainment and the bigger the entertainment appeal, the bigger the pay. I watch Jersey Shore for it's stupidity which is entertaining to me. It's the way the world has worked since day 1. Why go to a circus or the movies when you can pay a scholar 150 million dollars in grants versus giving that money to a studio to make the new Sherlock Holmes movie. It's the way the world works for centuries.

So about a month ago, I weighed 185 pounds and said enough was enough, got on a diet and I lost weight, came to about 176 but being an emotional eater, I'm back at 180. Regardless, when I was a 185, I had a blood + urine test for a health insurance through my bank. The last time I had blood work done was ... probably 7 years ago and this was the first time I did a urine test. Anyway, I got my report in today and here's what I found outside of the advisable range - Ranges in Italics Calcium 10.6 7.5 - 10.5 Uric Acid 8.1 4 - 6.5 ALT (SGPT) 46 0 - 45 Total Cholesterol 305 120 - 220 LDL Cholesterol 199.4 50 - 178 Cholesterol/ HDL Ratio 8.068 1.5 - 4.5 Triglycerides 339 10 - 250 As you can see, I'm super healthy. Heart attack at 35/ 40, maybe. My house keys are stuck under my door mat with tape, just in case.
