Wal-Mart (DX ) says they're going to have it for $18.67, which ends up being better than Amazon since you can buy it in-store, and not pay shipping and handling. Of course, if you bought like one other thing from Amazon, you'd get free shipping.

Are you just sharing or do you want criticism? If you're not looking for the latter, I doubt you'll want to hear what I have to say.

My friend told me about this site / thing last night, and I've been kinda hooked since. It's Pandora.com, and it's a music generator in which you tell it what song or artist you like, and after playing something by that artist, it will find other music you might like based on similarity. For instance, I put in The Postal Service, and it logically gave me a Flaming Lips song not long after. Even better, you can tell it if you like or don't like the song it picked, so it can begin to define your tastes and get even closer to just what you enjoy--so hopefully eventually it'll be introducing you to all-new music and artists that you'll end up loving. It tells you what the songs you like include, (it'll say, "Finding songs with major tonality, mild vocal chords..." etc). It's really interesting. I recommend anyone who likes finding new artists to check it out.

Well, of course you know that in writing, technically anything is 'alright'......but if I were to define referencing dreams, it'd be as "poetry kitsch"--something that will appeal to the general mass of readers, but it's definitely not avant-garde or original. I'm sure there are plenty of ways to make dreams unique and un-tacky within writing, so maybe the fun is simply in trying to discover what those ways are...

Either toast or cranberries would be my guess.

Wait, you edited it right after you made that post. Did you just add my name? X'D

You put dudeman / daymost in it but not me? I refuse to read it.

Okay, so you know that one part with the guy and that thing that happens? Yeah, I'm still shaking from it. I don't even want to put anything in spoilers, because nothing in this film should be ruined for anyone. Holy, holy shit.

Draw a clown blooming out of a flower? Or a squid...squids are cool.

Choosing a favorite poem to me would be like choosing...well, it would just be damn near impossible. I love so many by so many authors...I've been working on a little pocket-notebook collection of all my favorites so I can carry it around with me, and the book's about halfway full so far. So many wonderful works by Russell Edson, James Tate, e.e. cummings... Anyway. If I were to choose just one poem to put here at the moment, it'd be the one I had running through my head for a good chunk of this past semester: (By Stevie Smith) Nobody heard him, the dead man, But still he lay moaning: I was much further out than you thought And not waving but drowning. Poor chap, he always loved larking And now he's dead It must have been too cold for him his heart gave way, They said. Oh, no no no, it was too cold always (Still the dead one lay moaning) I was much too far out all my life And not waving but drowning.

Classic chain email, "Now send this to 100 of your closest friends and someone will call you tonight and have phone sex with you" type thing.

Are they only releasing it for PSP? Because...as interested as I am, there's no way I'm paying $240+ to see it.

It's been a looong time since I made any banners. Banners were just an "I'm bored" kinda thing for me...I never tried or claimed to be any good. And my favorite is my five-minute Tellah banner that I still use. I made the cloud background myself, and am damn proud. X'D

Lady, with the sort of problems you're facing in your writing (perfectionism, that thought that everything must be emotionally provoking, etc), I have a book that I think you'd really enjoy and get a lot out of--Bird by Bird, by Anne Lammott. On top of having the best suggestions for helping out those exact sort of problems, it's also hilarious and just a fun and entertaining read (and easy, so it doesn't blow any Summer-relaxation mentality ). And sometimes it helps to just sit down and write everything that you first think of, without editing or really analyzing it...put tape over your backspace button or eraser, and just go. You might surprise yourself with the quality you can throw out on a whim. =)

Q: Why did Helen Keller's dog run away? A: You would, too, if your name was GWAAAAAAAH. ...okay, all I know are Helen Keller jokes. But they're the best.

No...Eppy doesn't mean the ending was sad...the entire thing was a sad excuse for a game.

The last thread we had of this, my Chrono Cross reply resulted in a huge and unnecessary discussion... So I'll just say Secret of Evermore and be done with it.

Girl-type Ranma.

But if you have to replay to get everything, anyway, why restart? Just get the things you missed the first time on a different file...

All playthroughs of it included, I've probably spent 400+ hours on Star Ocean 2. I have a feeling Tales of Symphonia is going to topple that record, though. Especially considering you have to play through it at least three times to get everything, and that's if you're extremely precise on each playthrough...
